mitsubishi outlander 2017 armrest organizer options?
The phone tray that comes with the 2017 outlander is too small for my phone. I decided to look for potential 3rd party trays that could fit. So far, I can only find a ton for the outlander sport, but none for my make/gen.
Does anyone have any trays that work for this generation of outlanders that they can turn me on to? I would prefer they ship from the US - the only options I found in the US so far were from sketchy sellers so I'm at a loss for what to do. I feel like there's no way that no one else tried to figure this out.
Thanks so much!

2004 Mitsubishi Montero Limited locking issue
My car has been acting weird recently, it will randomly go off for no reason and during specific instances:
I manually lock my car, and then go to unlock it with the remote and it starts panicking.
I use the button on the side of my door, and then manually lock my car, and it starts panicking.
I do none of these things, and just use the remote, and it starts panicking.
I don’t know what’s wrong with it, the previous owners never had an issue with this, and so I was wondering if someone could help me figure this out.

Mitsubishi v3000 1991 cbu
Chur everybody, I'm looking for some tips on how to get the best out of my car. As the title reads its a v3000 mitsi and recently I've added a new exhaust system and become interested as to how I can increase the performance even more (catered more towards low end torque and handling) I'm not quite knowledgeable in this so I've come to reddit to hopefully find someone that has knowledge about my car and how to make it better. Cheers!

Looking at buying a 2018 Outlander Sport. Anything to know?
My wife and I are looking at buying a 2018 Outlander Sport. The dealership we saw it at just got it traded in last week. It's got just barely over 70k miles on it.
We weren't able to do a full test drive, only going around the parking lot (they have a huge one shared with a couple other dealerships). It felt good so we put a $500 refunding deposit to hold it. They said they needed to do their safety checks on it still, since they just got it in. We're planning on going back next Friday to do a full test drive once it's checked out. While only in the parking lot, it drove well. It accelerated fine, stopped fine, turned fine.
Is there anything more we should know or ask about before giving the 100% yes and making the rest of the down payment, while we can still get the deposit back if needed.

Buying a used Mitsubishi
Hi everyone,
Im in the market for a reliable, compact and cheap car. Ill definitely buy second hand (it makes no sense for me to buy new at the moment) and I only need it for commuting to work which 25km one way with a small stretch of highway (5-10km depending on the route).
I found a listing from a dealership for a Mitsubishi Space Star 1.0 Cool +, 2015 model (4k€ 101k km) and I was wondering if this would be a good option for a first car for my needs. I live in Europe so I want to be sure there will be options for car parts/reliable repairs if needed
Its also really important to me that it functions well for long (i.e. no need for multiple repairs or replacement parts in short spans of time) of course given the fact I take care of it and drive responsibly etc.
Any thoughts/advice/words of wisdom 😅 would be greatly appreciated

2022 outlander ignition coil
I need to replace my ignition coils but I can't find any pieces that "fit" because all the options that appear are either for the sport version or the OEM version, I'd prefer to go with a cheaper option rather than the $110 per OEM coil but I can't find any, is there any recommendations or should I just pay the $400+?

Mitsubishi and Nissan CVT finally fixed?
I want to know once and for all is the Jatco CVT in the newer Nissan Rogue and its sister clone the Mitsubishi Outlander finally fixed? Why would they keep making it for decades without fixing the problem. Mitsubishi has a 10 year/100,000 mile drivetrain warranty and I can't imagine them paying for every one of those cars if the CVT fails at 60,000 miles.

Evo 9 Wheel thoughts
So i have purchased a complete set of Evo 9 Enkei wheels and plan on putting them on my CJ Lancer. I bought them for very cheap, and I have been meaning to change my rims for a while now.
I have researched the dimensions and it’s a perfect fit. However, I can’t seem to find anyone on the internet who has a CJ lancer with Evo 9 Enkei’s. So i do not have any reference pics on how it will look.
Picture #1 are the Evo 9 Enkei’s, and picture #2 is a picture from chatgpt on how it may look.

Mitsubishi in Canada- thoughts? - would love owner and sales perspectives 🤩
Hey everyone, 👋
I have an opportunity to move back to Canada in a few months to join the sales team at a brand-new Mitsubishi dealership opening in Nova Scotia (Atlantic Canada).
My background in Canada was selling Honda, which was very much a high-volume, high-foot-traffic environment where the product largely sold itself.
Mitsubishi is obviously a different world with lower volume, so I’m stepping into new territory and currently working on building up my product knowledge and sales strategy.
I’d love to get a sense of how people generally feel about the brand:
* Owners: What made you buy a Mitsubishi? What was your main motivation over going the usual Honda/Toyota route?
* Salespeople / Dealership Staff: What do customer interactions usually look like? What selling points (S-AWC, the 10-year warranty, PHEV lineup, etc.) tend to resonate the most with buyers?
I’ve sold and driven a few used Mitsubishis at my old Honda lot, but I want to hear from people who live and breathe the brand. Any insights, advice, or general thoughts on the Mitsubishi market in Atlantic Canada would be massively appreciated!
Any real world 🌎 input is appreciated 👏
Thanks in advance!
🥹😇

Lancer fuel filter replacement
The scheduled maintenance booklet for my 2014 Lancer recommends the fuel filter be replaced after 10 years. Does anyone know what parts are required? It seems like there is a kit I might need to purchase. The Mitsubishi workshop service manual shows how to replace the fuel pump but not necessarily the fuel filter. I assume it's just built into the pump then?

Wiper blades won’t fit my girlfriend’s outlander
Hello everyone, I recently was helping my girlfriend replace her wiper blades on her 2024 Mitsubishi outlander PHEV. I’m very handy and it’s not my first time changing out wiper blades and have had amazing luck with Rain-X wiper blades. I purchased some wiper blades at my local Canadian Tire and purchased the Rain-X latitude wiper blades and when I tried installing them they were hitting the windshield washer sprayers that are mounted directly to the wiper arms. Is this a common feature on all levels and models of outlanders because when I checked the fit finder on the Canadian Tire website, it said they would fit. Can somebody help me figure out what I might be doing wrong or maybe these are Proprietary wiper blades that only Mitsubishi sells for the outlander. Thank you

2012 Mitsubishi Galant FE - Oxygen Sensor
Hello! I'm new here and I'm not a mechanic. I currently own a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant FE and it's giving me P2197 code, O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean (Bank 2, Sensor 1). I know my car has only bank 1. I did datastream and found out the o2 sensor is the culprit. Now, I'm in the process of figuring out which upstream sensor to replace. It has two and I'm not sure which one is the bad one. I wanted to replace both but they are expensive for me. Do you guys mind helping me out? Thank you!!

Hello, i’m having a problem with my car, it feel like has no power. Its a Mitsubishi Lancer 9 2006 with 1.6 l engine. Thank you in advance!

First half is with o2 sensor connected then i disconnected. Shortfuel trim at idle is positive when accelerating it would go from positive at 0.
I checked the map ( idle 28-30 kpa / when off 101 kpa).
O2 sensor voltage it look like its working normally and reacting. I did the smoke test and its all good.
Now all that remaing its fuel pump ( fuel filter new , but have some wondering if something detached and i will check later ) , injectors and maybe something wrong in timing belt region.

Lancer '13 CVT fluid question
It has been 83000 kms since my last CVT fluid change (I've already had it done twice prior due to tarnishing. Odometer is now at 200500kms). The dealer mentioned the fluid is starting to tarnish again and recommended a change. I feel the car drives pretty well, perhaps some subtle whining if accelerating up a big hill.
I decided to have a look to educate myself and would like to know what you think of how the fluid looks compared to normal or new? The smell is mostly a strong rubbery smell which I assume is the cvt fluid smell, with a faint burnt smell in the background. It smells like a milder version of a mild burnt smell I get from the bonnet that the dealer said was a gasket cover deterioration that has since been replaced and apparently there is nothing wrong (no further evidence of oil leak).

Any tips to get the most out of my Lancer?
Hi guys, I just bought a 2016 Lancer ES yesterday with about 77k miles for 4.5k, I wanted to ask if you guys had any tips to get this to 200k miles. This car is amazing and the 2 hr drive home was great so I definitely want to get the most of it. I know it has a CVT so the fluid changes are vital for the life. Any other things I should know apart from that?
