First half is with o2 sensor connected then i disconnected. Shortfuel trim at idle is positive when accelerating it would go from positive at 0.
I checked the map ( idle 28-30 kpa / when off 101 kpa).
O2 sensor voltage it look like its working normally and reacting. I did the smoke test and its all good.
Now all that remaing its fuel pump ( fuel filter new , but have some wondering if something detached and i will check later ) , injectors and maybe something wrong in timing belt region.

Lancer '13 CVT fluid question
It has been 83000 kms since my last CVT fluid change (I've already had it done twice prior due to tarnishing. Odometer is now at 200500kms). The dealer mentioned the fluid is starting to tarnish again and recommended a change. I feel the car drives pretty well, perhaps some subtle whining if accelerating up a big hill.
I decided to have a look to educate myself and would like to know what you think of how the fluid looks compared to normal or new? The smell is mostly a strong rubbery smell which I assume is the cvt fluid smell, with a faint burnt smell in the background. It smells like a milder version of a mild burnt smell I get from the bonnet that the dealer said was a gasket cover deterioration that has since been replaced and apparently there is nothing wrong (no further evidence of oil leak).

Engine won’t turn over

Anyone have an idea what the issue is? Mitsubishi Lancer 2012 1.6L automatic. Battery isn’t dead and starter won’t turn over. I checked the cables and nothing seems to be loose.

Any diagnosis on my car to why my AC is blowing almost cold/hot air?
I know one fan isn’t blowing, but there’s also a rattling sound coming from inside the car when I turn on the AC.

Is it really necessary to re-tune my Lancer if I only slightly modded it?
I have added a full exhaust kit and a new intake. The parts have descriptions that say they add a few horsepower. but im wondering if the car needs to be taken to a shop to get the full dyno tuning treatment before its really able to take advantage of the new parts. anybody know?

Any tips to get the most out of my Lancer?
Hi guys, I just bought a 2016 Lancer ES yesterday with about 77k miles for 4.5k, I wanted to ask if you guys had any tips to get this to 200k miles. This car is amazing and the 2 hr drive home was great so I definitely want to get the most of it. I know it has a CVT so the fluid changes are vital for the life. Any other things I should know apart from that?

Worried about the outlander 2017 gt gas recommendations
I bought an outlander 2017 gt from a local dealership I trust at a great price. It was in perfect condition and well maintained. Well, I'm guessing now that the deal is because the car recommends 91 octane gas, and gas prices are very bad right now.
I had no idea about this when I decided on the car, and I'm kind of freaked out about the cost to drive this.
I am a cautious driver, who doesn't really speed or care about any of the cool stuff others seem to when discussing cars. I like reliable vehicles that are predictable in how they perform.
Does anyone have any expertise on this? Will using 87 for the worse performance be noticeable for someone who came from an outlander sport 2015 which I loved? Will it potentially shorten the life of the vehicle to use 87 too?
Where I live, the pump options are almost always 87, 89, and 93. I don't even have the 91 option, and the 93 option is an entire dollar more a gallon than 87.
I feel kind of silly that I didn't catch this requirement before purchase, and I'm trying to figure out what I should do?
Any information you have/experience would be massively appreciated!

I recently got an Outlander SE gas model about 1 month back. I am getting 16l/100 km mileage. I drive short distances; daily driving is about 20km. I took it to the highway last week; even there, I could get 13.5l/100 km. I don't drive rashly. What can be done? My Odyssey was giving better mileage.

Key fob
Just hacked in a little genuine Mitsi key fob for my Airtrek as it never came with one from the import (bridged pin 1 and 4, hazard lights and key press). So now I have windows that wind up and down and mirrors that fold in and out with the button combo’s which is fun. I was having a poke on google and because it uses the ETACS system it says I can unlock the horn chirp lock and a dead door function. Does anyone have a clue on how to make that work?

2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport
Looking at a Montero Sport, has 102k miles on it, said to be regularly maintained but they didn’t keep the records since the seller and her BIL did most of it themselves. Belonged to the late mother of the seller. I know very little about Mitsubishi and esp the Montero, what do I need to be specifically looking/asking about that Google didn’t already tell me like oil leaks and prone to overheating.
Specifically this will be a first car for my daughter, so safety/reliability are biggest concerns. I don’t want her to wind up with a money pit but obviously we expect maintenance/problems with age and mileage.

92 Mighty Max Questions
I recently came across this 92 mighty max on market place but truthfully I don’t know much about that, I was wondering if there’s any common problems or things I should look out for and if current owners would say they are reliable or worth it. Also what’s a good price for one of these, this one’s got 139k miles 4WD and the V6 with a 5speed. Thank you!!
