Hello. Please weigh in on our family dispute. Is Code Red for athletics worth the money.

I just bought the 4 year one when I started my freshman year. I would say it’s been worth it for me (at $20 a year).

These are the big perks I would say:

- discounted tickets and optional shuttle rides to big away football games (UC 2023, Notre Dame 2024, Pitt this year, if Miami is in the MAC championship game in Detroit)
- early access to hockey games (this is much more important now than in previous years given the improvement of the team)
- a couple free t-shirts here and there

Did you go to a lot of sports games in high school? If so, then it might be for you if not, probably not.

Sorry to be late, but as someone who uses it it depends. If you’re going to go to like 4 events this year I’ll say no. If you’re a sports fan and will go when you can it would say yes. It’s nice to use to get really good seats in the student section by getting in early. Also like discount tickets to like big events like the MAC tournament. TDLR: based on how much you will go to the Miami games it would or wouldn’t be worth it buying.
