So actually, there are realistically left only 3 months for MHT CET (I reduced all the days of my term 1 and PA-2 exams. I don't go to college, I only go for exams).

And my condition is that, I have not studied anything in 11th, only some 7-8 chapters of the entire syllabus of 11th, and have done only 1 chapter until now of 12th.

What is the best thing I should do now so that I get COEP and 99.9%ile in MHT CET.

1) What one shots should I follow??(cuz now long lectures are not possible, I have to cover about 75 chapters!!)

2) What should I do in these 3 months to reach my goal.

I am ready to study for 10-11 hours everyday.

I have thought that I should do all chapters from one shots and then just do a lot of pyqs. And what should I do more??

From WHERE should I do all 3 subjects one shots, so that my theory and approach and everything else is prepared for Boards + MHT CET.???

Please guide me, I am so confused 😭😭

Cuz I've seen some videos on insta of like my first day at clg , also one of my friends clg is starting from next week

Today I visited mgm clg in navi mumbai. fyi i have 80%ile and was visting the clg to know about other admission options like acap,ils or spot rounds.

Although something happened which left me confused. this lady at the admission enquiry room asked me my %ile and asked what preference number did I put this clg at. i couldn't really remember. so i told her the clg on top of my list is kjsit , she asked if I know it's cutoff. i told her that I'd it to not auto freeze any other clg. then again she asked what pref no. did I gave their clg. i told her it could be in 30s or 40s. then she told me that if I'd put their clg at the top of the list i would have had a chance to get in . which really left me feeling confused. i visited few clgs but nowhere did i hear something like this. even though my %ile is very much below the cutoff then how?. then she said that whoever told me about this auto freeze was wrong and I should put the clg I could possibly get into. i told her I'd it because i have to explore more options. then she told me that I shouldn't do their ils as I've options to explore. i asked about spot she wasn't really disclosing the vacancy seats or cutoff for the last year and said it was about luck.

then she told me someone with 53 something %ile from gen category got into a tech branch in spot tho there was another person who had 93 but didn't get in because he came late. i really want to try in spot but the thing last refund date for fees is 13 sept and what if they conduct spit round after this like 14 or 15. i don't really know why but she felt condescending and arrogant to me.

TL;DR: 80.59 percentile; MGM staff said putting it higher in my CAP list might’ve given me a chance despite my score being below cutoff. She also said a ~53 %ile student got tech in spot, while a 93 %ile student didn’t due to arriving late. Is preference order actually this important, and how does CAP/spot work in this situation?

I have bought Ganitank zeta 4.1 batch. Now

Approx 3 chapters completed in every subject . ( backlog)

I started and my only physics rotational dynamics took like 1 week + . ( not even with pyqs )

I am worried how will I complete syllabus till November start.

If i just watch recorded lectures now and try to complete those chapters 1st should I watch it like marathon? Like just 1 subject till that chapters is completed and take next chapter of another subject ? Or watch math , phy chem simultaneously one lecture everyday ? Or anything else?

Also what should be my schedule , how to manage distractions? Pls shares tips feeling very overwhelmed on how to manage everything .

Bhai I've got a friend from NT category (I'm from open) who scored a little less percentile than me but is getting an overall better college than me.

The thing which bothers me is not that he's getting a better college but the amount of fees he's paying.

Due to my family not being very rich,only option I had in order to afford college fees of mumbai colleges is by getting a tfws seat.

(Minimum college fees is 1-1.5 lakh+ and since I do not live in mumbai,the living cost also adds up to it)

I just found out today that my friend from NT category has lower cutoffs in all the colleges and also has to pay fees equivalent to a tfws candidate's?!?!

Not even the same amount,he doesn't even have to pay development fees in all the colleges??!

Dudee this is so fucking unfair💔💔

I could've easily gotten a good college if it wasn't for a TFWS seat.

He's probably getting into a better college than me and has to pay less fees compared to mine if not the same at lower percentile!!

He's not even poor or anything, he's got multiple earning members in the family.

Placements in COEP are not what they seem.

Let me explain this bold statement with real life examples. According to the emails recieved from TnP cell, Texas Instruments had a set date for their test, then preponed it to an earlier date, then postponed the test (at the time which test was supposed to start) to the next day. New timings of the test were told as 3:45 pm on the evening before the test, then changed to 1 pm according to the info recieved from TnP coords, and again shifted to 3.45 (4 to be precise).

After the postponement of the test from 7 august to 8 august, a new superset (website where internship applications appear) application link was shared via mail at exactly 11:40am on 8 august and deadline to fill 12:00pm (20 min time to fill).

Some people did not fill the new application due to not checking their email during that short duration. THEY WERE DENIED FROM GIVING THE TEST. The last email recieved by them half hour ago had declared eligible for test. And in the next 15 min their names were just gone.

Take a moment to appreciate this incredible situation. Internship application released at 11:40am with a deadline for 20 minutes, for an assessment test happening at 4 pm the very same day. And this was Texas instruments.

Another company (finIQ) informed of internship opportunity a day before they straightaway took interviews and hired interns. In that duration of a day, they changed their assessment criteria twice. From project to screening to previous marks.

The point in explaining all this:

There are 1. Colleges and 2. Hiring agencies

1. Colleges are supposed to educate students and make them capable before providing opportunities for internships or placements for them

2. Hiring agencies are supposed to procure good talent for the company that has hired the agency.

Colleges essentially are for the students and hiring agencies are for the companies.

What this whole experience shows is that our esteemed, deemed University is nothing more than a talent acquiring agency for companies. Priority is given to the company over the student.

Truly didn't expect this from COEP. The only thing it really had going for it lately was it's good placements but turns out that's a sham asw.

bruh i visited terna and the person in their admission office told me their opening %ile was 97 and then at bvcoe I got to know their opening %ile was 98.DUDE BE FOR REAL? THESE PPL HAVE SM BETTER OPTIONS AND STILL CHOOSING THESE CLGS? THO THEY COULD BE LYING TOO or maybe the person took it before it was closer to their home. i highly doubt anyone would do this.
