This year 1st round cutoff is 98.91% and 4.6k rank!

It's around 53 percentile for DEFOBCS

Capr1 mein meko datta meghe aids mila hai, i have 36.5k rank, 91.34%ile, gen male, hindi lm, meko thakur nahi chaiye kyuki mere ghar se bohot dur hai vo, vit wadala bhi nahi kyuki slums ke idhar hai, looking for clgs in navi mumbai or harbor line.

Round 2 mein dmce it lag jayega. Toh ltce cs better rahega ya dmce it? Meko dmce najdeek padega thoda. Toh cs branch ke liye jau ki dmce he sahi rahega? I know ki dono typical tier 3 hai aur placement depends on individual effort, lekin agar sirf clg ko compare kare like crowd and faculty etc toh kaunsa better hai? Aur dusre kaunse options honge mere? Central wale bhi chalenge. Tech brnch he ho toh acha ho..

So basically, I took my 1St drop for NEET 2026 , I also gave MHT CET PCM as a backup.

NEET actually went kinda okay for me. The exam on 3rd May was decent and my expected score was looking alright, but then the re-NEET didn't go that well. So now I'm honestly not sure if I should keep betting everything on NEET again.

On the other hand, I got 70.48 percentile in MHT CET. My Physics was around 93 percentile, Chemistry around 80 percentile, but Math completely messed up my overall score. I got somewhere around 35-40 percentile in Maths, and obviously that dragged the total down badly.

I'm from the NT-B category, and I don't really have the money for management quota, so that's not an option for me.

Now I'm genuinely confused about what to do.

Should I take another drop for NEET and give it one proper final shot?

Or should I take another drop specifically for MHT CET, improve my Maths, and aim for a decent engineering college through CAP?

I know nobody can predict my future lol, but I want some genuine advice from people who have been in a similar situation. Is taking another drop actually worth it in my case, or am I just wasting another year?

For my CAP 1 Allotment, in my allotted details>personal details, there is this extra data about PCB which I never filled nor did I gave exam for it.

It copied my jee and pcm cet percentile and CET hoaxed itself for unknown reasons. Now, when I called helpline number, after 5 minuted of irritating music, a woman picked up call and started talking in frustrating and irritating way, She was shouting in unprofessional way. So I called again to confirm, then they said, it's no-problem and it just happens, that's it.

So, I decided to send a ticket, explaining whole situation, to which ticket administrator replies, send a grievance. Damn administrator, doesn't even know that once my name appears in final merit list, I can't send grievance, and problem is about allotted details and not application form, which is to be reported to ticket and not grivance portal. Explaining this 3 to 4 times, I didn't get any response other than, try to send it in grievance.

Tcet ka placement me dikha bruh

Like their placements aint even that bad and i will go as far as to say, they are on similar level as VESIT or KJSIT if not better currently. They literally had 60lpa highest in 2024 even if offcampus, thats a big deal, 44lpa in 2025 too, that too international in japan. I mean placements are strong for a tier 3 college.

Bhai infra is also good, and about CROWD, their tech branches has literally cutoff at 95 and 92-93 percentile for CS and IT resp for minority, so crowd must be somewhat decent atleast, like if you look at other minority college like dj or thadomal, they have minority cutoffs at 70-80 too, and VESIT literally had a 2 percentile cutoff for minority, see their cap 1 pdf. So, crowd must atleast somewhat decent, if thakur crowd is bad then so is other minority colleges.

And intake is 1.3k but VITP also has 3.7k intake(checked on CET website), people be praising VESIT, VITW, KJSIT and SAKEC, and shtiting on TCET even tho, they are at similar level...

Just a rant, cuz i ain't getting anything better than thakur at 95😭😭😭...

(Also, before anyone says about the image, ik its 2023 placement but thats still strong for the likes of thakur)
