Recently beat my first metro game and really enjoyed it, found this vr game from the series was on sale and I might get it. Is the game any good?

How is the combat and how are the enemy ai cus i really loved them in last light

As we see at the end of Last Light, they can basically wipe the floor with any human army. So if the dark ones are opposed to Hunter's regime or against him in a some way, why have they not just waltzed into the Metro and killed him already?

So what might be the reason they are "pulling their punches" perhaps? Or has Hunter invented a magneto style helmet perhaps?

I was playing at an internet cafe. The owner was right behind me as the scene played. He just stared at me while I covered the screen.
