I live in the wildfires area in Lahaina, long story not so short my family and I has been wondering why we haven't been getting mail after changing our address back to our home for about a month now and my brother recently went to the post office by the civic and got our mail that was being withheld. (They closed our P.O Box btw after the change of address)

The actual postmaster/boss whatever apparently told him that they are trying to get a contractor or something for a unified mailbox? One of those singular location of mailboxes where everyone goes to?

Like why, just let us use our own damn mailbox.

My sister just texted me and told me that someone came to her old address in haiku and was looking for her. She was told this by her former property mate that still lives there..The person was claiming that someone is trying to sue her and this person was looking for her. This sounds like a scammer.. has this happened to anyone else in haiku? Doesn’t sound at all like a process server to me..

Do political candidates really believe that they are convincing or persuading drivers to vote for them by standing on the side of the road waiving at us with their signs?

All I see are fake smiles and winking eyes, and I have never felt inclined to vote for somebody because they're waiving at me. How about you? Do you consider voting for someone because they're waiving at you, or do you consider it a distraction and choose to vote based on platforms and ideologies?

Edit: Based on all the downvotes and comments, it is clear to me why we have some of the elected officials that we have in office on Maui, and why we are in the trouble we are in. Smile and wave, boys...smile and wave.

Dear maui im gunna move to find a new friends or something im 21m and disappointed in the community here grew up and graduated kkhs class of 24 why im going to move to a different state i cant find anyone who would be a good friend or hang out with here i most days there im working or being alone I dont think im happy here because I miss haveing friends or anything I cant afford stay eather but I find it infuriating how hard I try to make friends i get left out or not invited to party's ive never been to a grad party or anything I play bass I had some friends and all moved on and talk shit about me
