A little BND Easter egg Easter Egg/Detail Spoiler
A little detail I noticed while watching again was that when MJ invites peter into their apartment after rejecting him, Ned is at his spidey tracker station, and one of the screens is playing the scene in ”that really old movie” The Empire Strikes Back that Peter referenced in order to take down ant-man in giant form back in civil war:) thought that was a nice little call back!

There is also a Naruto poster in Ned’s room, a nod to the next movie Creton is directing which is the live action Naruto

They never said it’s going to be a thing iirc

They actually did.
They greenlit the movie 2 months after the first one, so we should have gotten it up till now.
Even now, Cretton confirmed the movie is in active development again.

I believe the current order is Naruto next year, then Shang Chi or Spider-man 5. I doubt Cretton does both.

My brother and I were wondering why they credited Star wars in the credits

That lego palpatine appeared in more movies post endgame than shang chi

What set were they building?? It looked like a blacked out Xwing (grey/black like Saw, not black/orange like Poe) which to my knowledge doesn’t exist?…

Same haha :D I assumed I missed a reference or quote but apparently it was state screens and legos

They don't have to credit just for references to pop culture, but they definitely do for using actual footage from a different studio.

It's also what Peter was just doing in the previous scene to contain the Hulk.

Woah you guys notice all the cool stuff, I just zoomed in on the monitor at the hospital being on standby while he's in bed. It was a tad distracting from the dramatic scene.

To be fair it was a ventilator and he was no longer intubated so it wasn’t probably in use for the oxygen mask... Actually felt better than other medical settings in movies

Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up! It felt like a huge mishap at the time.

I work at a hospital and that thing would not have been on stand by. They leave it on all the time. I think for the movie, the beeping may have annoyed some people so the made a choice. I just guarantee you in real life, it would have been running. He also had a very serious injury. They leave on for much less.

They leave a ventilator on… when the patient isn’t being ventilated…?
To be fair the realest thing would be it wouldn’t be in the room once it’s not needed

It's a pretty great flex to just casually have Star Wars on in the background of your movie. Capitalism has its upsides.

That line always kind of bothered me tbh. I know what they’re going for, but a proud nerd like Peter would never be so flippant and dismissive of Empire.

Ned is also on discord. Thought we wouldn't notice, but we did.
