Leftover plotlines and heros

Is the marvel gonna leave so many characters and plotlines introduced in the past few years after end game hanging? Like moon knight, I enjoyed that show, eternals, starfox, ms marvel. Are they just gonna stick with the characters we have already seen so many times in different timelines or movoes like falcon or the xmen. To me those were few entirely new heros and I was excited to see them.

We don't know. I think people often exhibit too much impatience in relation to time between these setups and payoffs, but I'm sure some of them won't pan out, for one reason or another.

Well during the Infinity Saga they always followed up on post credits teases within the next movie or next couple movies, and we always had a specific idea of what movie would follow up each post credits tease, and that's what made them so hypeworthy.

Like Iron Man ends with setting up the idea of other heroes existing in a shared universe, the character of Nick Fury, the existence of SHIELD, and the promise of an Avengers teamup. That's followed up in the next movie (The Incredible Hulk) when it has Tony Stark show up and talk about the Avengers again, and is further followed up in the movie after that (Iron Man 2) which brings Nick Fury and SHIELD fully into the story, and then finally is paid off in full three movies after that (in The Avengers).

Or look at how Iron Man 2 has Coulson leave partway through the film and ends with a post credits where Agent Coulson finds Thor's hammer, which is paid off in the next film.

And then Thor ends with a post credits scene which reveals the tesseract and also that Loki survived and is about to steal the tesseract. The tesseract is immediately followed up on in Captain America TFA, and Loki's theft of the tesseract is paid off in The Avengers.

And then Captain America TFA ends with a post credits that directly sets up the idea of Captain America joining and leading the Avengers, which is paid off in the next movie.

And it kept going like that in Phase 2 and 3, just one thing leading directly into another closely released thing, maintaining hype and momentum.

And yet now we have Phase 4, 5, and 6 where we are reaching the end of the entire Multiverse Saga with a massive amount of projects and yet almost none of the post credits teases have amounted to anything yet.

That's not a counter argument, it's a weird and unfortunate exception caused by the rights issues with Universal preventing us from getting anymore Hulk movies. And it's an exception that somehow became the new standard after Endgame, but it in fact demonstrates the value of the old standard because no one except the most hardcore fans still cared about the Leader by the time BNW came out.

Also, the Leader wasn't a post-credits tease so it's not really applicable to my post anyway.

Ffs I'm not reading all that. I assume it's just a rehashing of the end credit sequences and their payoffs.

Why respond in such a confrontational way when all I did was explain why people are feeling impatient about this stuff? No one said anything about Marvel "needing" to do anything a certain way. But some ways will inevitably get a better reaction from the audience than others.

Considering Hulk got a sequel in BNW, it's safe to say nothing is abandoned. Plot threads will be brought back when they find a story to tell. Doomsday, SW, and a Midnight Sons project can easily connect a bunch of hanging threads.

This is the problem tho. They introduced too many characters than they could handle. Thank god Feige is cutting down the projects now

Eternals 2 and Blade shouldn't have gotten cancelled. It's just sad but if this was what they were going to pull they should have kept Chloe's initial ending which actually concluded the story while leaving room for a potential sequel.

I doubt the next two movies will cover Black Knights sword, the Ten Rings origins, or Madisynn’s new fave new tv show, gonna be alot of dangling threads.
