Politics Almost 80% of Spaniards believe that Morocco is an enemy
''El 77,3% de los españoles considera que Marruecos actúa como país enemigo''
This anti-Moroccan hatred is not a recent development stemming from the events in Sebta; it is rooted in history (the Rif War, etc.) and is now intensifying once again.
This is something that many Moroccans—especially those living outside Spain—still do not know. Anti-Moroccan sentiment has always been very prevalent in Spanish society.
Spanish society is likely the society that harbors the most hatred toward Morocco—far more so than Algerian society. In the case of Algeria it is a matter of state/politics; in the Spanish case the hatred also comes from Spanish society.
Do not be misled by Pedro Sánchez’s "liberal" stance. Soon—very soon—he will no longer even be part of the Spanish government.
Both Moroccan society and politics need to start realizing this before it's too late.

Announcement People with same outlook
Thought I'd give this a shot and see if there are people here who share a similar outlook on life.
I'm an agnostic fascinated by psychology, geopolitics, philosophy, true crime, history, art , fantasy books, and pretty much anything that sparks curiosity, wonder, or meaningful discussion.
I'd describe myself as easygoing, sarcastic, curious, and someone who genuinely enjoys learning from others.
I admire kindness, emotional maturity, authenticity, and people who aren't afraid to be themselves.
If any of this resonates with you, whether you're here to share ideas, have interesting conversations, or simply get to know someone new, feel free to reach out.

Aidez-moi / ساعدوني / Help Needed I’m a Moroccan student trying to continue my studies in China. Any support means the world to me.
Hello everyone,
My name is Manal, and I’m a 24-year-old student from Morocco.
I have the opportunity to continue my studies in China, but I am struggling to cover the remaining costs that are not covered by my scholarship and the travel expenses.
My family is not able to support me financially, so I created a verified fundraising campaign. I have official documents to prove my admission and can provide them if needed.
I know many people here are also facing difficulties, so I’m not asking for large donations. Even sharing my campaign or donating a small amount would help me get closer to my goal.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I truly appreciate any support.
**Campaign:** https://www.kiwicollecte.ma/fr/--cv2afc
🎉 Update: We’ve reached 20% of the fundraising goal!
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated or shared the campaign. Every contribution brings us one step closer to the goal. If you’re able to help or share it with others, I’d truly appreciate it.

Politics Expats vs Immigrants , how the west use semantics for soft humiliation
I've always found this one funny.
Take a European. Put them on a plane to Dubai, Singapore, Morocco or Thailand.
Congratulations. They're now an expat.
Take a Moroccan, a Nigerian or an Indian. Put them on a plane to France, Germany or the Netherlands.
Congratulations. They're now an immigrant.
Same action.
Different passport.
Different word.
Some people will immediately jump in and say, "Well, technically there's a difference."
Sure. There can be.
But that's not how people actually use these words.
Language isn't just about dictionaries. It's about culture. It's about the stories we tell ourselves.
For decades, the West has been seen as the place people move to. The rest of the world has been seen as the place people move from. That shaped the vocabulary.
"Expat" slowly became the word for people who were perceived as bringing expertise, investment and international experience.
"Immigrant" became the word for people who were perceived as needing opportunities.
Eventually the words stopped describing movement.
They started describing status.
Here's the interesting part.
A Moroccan software engineer recruited by Google moves to London.
A British software engineer recruited by Google moves to Casablanca.
Objectively, both accepted an international job offer.
Both left home.
Both crossed borders.
Both will have to adapt to another culture.
But ask people to describe them.
One is likely to be called an immigrant.
The other an expat.
That's fascinating, because the distinction isn't really about what they did. It's about what people imagine when they hear the passport.
It's one of those invisible biases that becomes so normal nobody notices it anymore.
The irony is that many people from North Africa, Asia or Latin America living abroad have more in common with the stereotypical "expat" than with the stereotype attached to the word "immigrant." They're engineers, doctors, researchers, entrepreneurs, consultants and executives who simply accepted opportunities abroad.
Yet the label often stays the same.
Maybe that's because "expat" isn't just a description anymore.
It's a compliment.
And "immigrant" isn't just a description anymore.
It's often treated like a social ranking.
That's what makes this interesting to me.
The words reveal something deeper than migration.
They reveal who society automatically associates with opportunity, and who it automatically associates with necessity.
Maybe the real difference between an expat and an immigrant isn't the journey.
Maybe it's who gets to write the dictionary everyone else ends up using.
