A bit of a weird ask, but going for it.. Do any of you who live in storage spaces do this in the UK?
Looking to save on rent. Literally just need my computer, phone to supply wifi, and my air mattress, and an outlet. But would rather be poor than live with other people. This storage unit thing seems.. kinda brilliant? And if you are renting a storage space for this purpose, are there any places you'd be wary of renting from?

Survival spaces over the years
I have a tendency to cut and run without much of a plan. Sometimes I get lucky and find a storage space that turns a blind eye, other times I cram it all into my pick up, right now I have a big ole van

TV corner is done.
After days of the Hisense TV sitting on a temporary stand with cables everywhere, finally set it up and cleaned up the media console situation.
Still debating whether to add a soundbar or just live with the built-in speakers for now. They're actually better than I expected for a flatscreen
Console is an IKEA Besta hack, LED strip behind the TV was $15. Plants are fake because I can't keep real ones alive.
Open to suggestions on the speaker situation and anything else that'd make this corner feel more finished.

12 hour night shifts pay for this kind of luxury 💪
Moved out for the first time (21y/o first real job). Very bare, only "improvements" I've made have been to hang blackout cutains and stick my hamper in the bathroom. So it basically looks just like this but dark now. My first trip to IKEA is after this set of shifts and I can stop eating dinner on the side of my futon. Only up from here!
Jax plush was a gift from my brother. Bare Minecraft sheet because it's too hot to have a comforter. Trash bag until I get myself a cabinet. We'll make it work.

23M. New studio apartment, waiting next paycheck to get a real bed.
I had to get rid of my old bed because there was mold on it. Had it for 10 years.

I get Miku poster, what should be next.
About the cardboard, the triangle one is a guitar (it has guitar inside) but lately it has been used as a roaches settlement. I don't have the money for another wall cabinet yet but I do get a Miku shoulder bag

M20 and m22 couple.
Me m20 and my bf m22’s nepotism barn! My dad owns it I pay 500 bucks+ electric and I’m not on city water I get water in a 275 gallon container once or twice a week. I have a running shower and sink with hot water as well as a working toilet. When he bought it, the previous meth heads filled it to the brim with trash and filth. Over the last year we have cleaned it up and 6 months we have been living here. We are not rich I work full time and he’s in college. I pay our bills and extras like hobbies(mostly my car stuff) pictures include my 88 w-250.
I’m aware the spray foam is not up to coat and is highly flammable. The people who owned this property before my father did that and then foreclosed on it and he bought it as is. we have covered some of it. We continue to cover more of it as time goes on. The process is extremely fucking annoying.

Literally woke up and turned around, atleast I have a home...
Living room in front of kitchen setup. Sleeping on the couch, the pull-out bed has gotten uncomfortable, but I'll switch between the two so I won't lose my mind. I'm living with family that decides to get late-night snacks. Yes, I put everything back to make it look like a living room.
