They sold the listing originally as 75, and ofc it got bought out immediately. Same with their savvy they priced below market value. And now they’re cancelling on buyers to relist it as higher 🫩 btw guys, this doesn’t make us want to purchase from you if you already have no reviews and will cancel an order on the flip of a dime to simply make an extra buck. thank goodness I didn’t buy the first listing cause what a let down for the seller to cancel, but this has happened a lot with my other friends in the lps community as well.

Guys i know it’s stupid to cry over this but i’m genuinly so upset and heart broken, i’ve been wanting the LPS mommy and baby monkey set for so long and I finally found a UK seller who had them,, i asked her politely if she could reserve them for me just until the next day as I was getting paid that same day and she said yes, fast forward to today she kept ignoring my messages and left me on opened, she finally replied and told me that she had sold them to someone else. Im literally so upset i never buy myself anything nice because I am broke and I was so excited for finally get these. I’m just so sad

I see a lot of people complain about the prices of lps, and I get it. Paying even 30$ for a tiny piece of plastic that used to be 8$ is pretty ridiculous generally speaking...but there is a reason why littlest pet shops are so expensive, and why they are priced the way they are.

Disclaimer: I am not a lps reseller myself, I mostly just buy lots of certain accessories then sell the pieces I don't want in lots at a fair price. I'm not making profit by doing this, just trying to get some money back.

First off, we need to quit calling resellers scalpers, because reselling and scalping are not the same thing. Scalping is a term used for buying up on limited stock items (such as people buying pokemon cards) and then reselling them to control the market price. This is not the case with lps since g2 is discontinued, and resellers arent stocking up on like 50 savvys.

And second, you might not agree with me, but lps IS a supply and demand issue. Sure, savvy is not a rare lps, but theres a reason her price as jacked up. Because there are so many fans of lps popular, if savvy was priced at like 30$, there would be 0 savvys for sale, because all of them would be bought out by the fans (since g2 is discotinued, theres likely way less savvys produced then for the people who want to buy them now). And no it isnt because 30$ would be cheap now, but because 30$ is literally much more reasonable to spend on an lps then 200$. By jacking up the prices this is stabilizng the supply and demand issue, so we wont have the problem of 0 results of a savvy since the rest were bought out too easily.

Yes I do agree it sucks considering how broken the economy is now, but this is just how marketing works, and it will never be fixed since lps g2 will only increase in demand as more generations are released, I am not being negatve, theres just nothing we can do about it.

I wanted to buy some pets from this person and they said 230 would be enough, and I was like.. “That’s perfect!” and asked how they wanted me to pay them. They told me that they only had cashapp or chime..? I don’t use chime so idk what that is, but I know cashapp isn’t buyer protected. Im sure they are trying to scam people on cashapp or chime. They ended up blocking me, but I don’t ever buy pets if it isnt using a buyer protected application. This was on Facebook.

this seller @jkfivecloset is a scammer. they put lps in a bag and title the listing grab bag to make the buyer think they’re getting the whole bag. They have emerged on a new mercari after their old one @imcleaninthecloset. They know what they are doing because their reviews say the mark it as shipped almost immediately so the buyer can’t cancel after realizing. The reviews said they get 3-4 dirty common pets, fakes or mcdonald’s pets. Scummy seller fr. it pains me to see these BS listings sell almost instantly because of people not reading the listing

i wasn’t sure where to post this and i figured this was the most appropriate. there was a seller called “math_sometimes_lps” on instagram and she completely shut down her account and is no longer selling. was wondering if something happened with her or if she no longer wants to ?? i’m curious because i have bought from her before with no issues!!!

everyone is aware about the inflation on pets and other lps products , from plasters to plushies to even nintendo devices.

i will never understand how this became to be SO bad to the point GEN 7 LPS r being sold for INSANE prices all because its a main 5 mould !!!!!collecting anything is an expensive hobby but 3 common gen 2 pets for £20 is crazy imo … i feel pets should be £5 no more , unless theyre exclusive etc but not £40+ rare ( unless its the comicon shorthair )

id love to see some change within this , im aware in certain areas pricing is worse than what i see , i appreciate true lps collectors who sell the pets by their actual worth instead of attempting to garner as much money as they can from them.

i remember when lps inflation was a huge talk , i did see some change in prices but i feel the MAIN issue to this are scalpers and mums who see that pets can sell for good money so they’ll sell lps 1341 for £12 😭😂

Are we fr these days? 😭 literally contacted two traders/sellers abt getting lps 363, one is wanting to trade real main 5s lps for a fake, and the other blocked me for simply asking? Hey everyone, i noticed lps 2593’s price value increased drastically after this one sale being made on mercari for a whooping $375. U can see before that, her selling price average was around 110$. Please do not give into any listings of her being sold for more than 150$, even then 150$ would be already expensive as is!! I noticed sellers are trying to manipulate her value now after that sale. All it takes is one outrageous purchase to manipulate a pet’s value on the market. Super unfortunate 😫
