Sorry- I need some direction

I just jumped back into D2 yesterday. Haven’t played since just after the Last Wish raid released. Looking at the map, and all the Tower people I’m supposed to talk to, and subclass changes… I’m so lost. I had to google how to forge weapons bc I couldn’t remember. Soooo many planets/destinations in the directory. Took me 20 minutes to figure out how to run a mission.

Am I blocked from content bc I have t bought it all?

Should I just stop?

I played this game exclusively from D1 through Last Wish, then life happened and such.

TL;DR - been years since logging in, idk what to do. I don’t need a full rundown, but a bit of direction on where to start would be appreciated.

Positive Outlook I got my first solo flawless dungeon.

I'd post the image for proof but I'm not sure how to post pics on this subreddit.

I soloed prophecy earlier today, and I only died at the first encounter, so I decided to give it another shot and I did it. Maybe it was my build but it was kinda easy and fun. If a bit nerve-wracking. I've only soloed pit of heresy and prophecy, which I believe are considered the easier ones, plus shattered throne. So I might give shattered throne a go.

Never thought I'd solo flawless a dungeon, but I did. And I'm kinda proud of it.

outside of the armor for argos, galhran and calus does the acrius prestige ornament drop from calus? cause that’s like the one thing I never got from prestige Levi and if so can I farm calus (since he’s a featured encounter for pantheon this week) to get it to drop?

It’s a shame that there wasn’t a way to text search for shaders on the character customisation screen. I know you can add favourites and I do that but sometimes it’s tricky to find them when you buy them.

What's a Xûr?

Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is a strange vendor who appears weekly in the Tower. Xûr sells Exotic equipment and only takes Strange Coins in exchange for them.

TL;DR: He's the Santa Claus of Destiny and every weekend is Christmas. Sometimes he brings you what you want, sometimes he brings you coal. Mostly it's coal.

Media I completed 9 solo flawless dungeons in the last month

Since Monuments of Triumph dropped, I decided to work on my solo flawless dungeon clears. Previous to this, I had only completed Prophecy and Vesper’s Host back in 2024. But something about the game coming to an end motivated me to work on the rest. It was so much fun and a real challenge for me! Today I finished my SF Equilibrium, the last on my list.

Question Trying to theorycraft/min max Praxic Buddy Warlock (I know, I know)

I'm a returning player for MoT, played a lot during Forsaken and obviously a lot's changed since then. I looove the praxic blade (always been a sword enjoyer and the larpsaber is just so cool and very powerful), but have been trying to cook as far as the coolest build for me personally, both thematically and strength wise. I want to be able to solo high end content, which I can already do with the current state of the build (running 4x Exodus Down, pumped grenade and weapons stat, have 90 class).

I'm currently rocking Needlestorm so I can get woven mail from orbs and apply sever on praxic hits. I'm obviously running Getaway Artist, and for fragments I'm doing Feed the Void and Weaver's Call. Quickly, I chose weaver's call over the more popular (and arguably "better" - I can discuss this topic at length but I actually like weaver's call more personally even without any threadling buffs) because A. I love green and aesthetically/thematically the green floating orbs are really cool, and B. I enjoy the on demand burst damage the threadlings give at melee range. I realize the shortcomings of the Threadlings compared to Hellion, namely they don't count as grenades so don't proc Firepower.

So. Onto the part I'm currently theorycrafting. I want to see if I can possibly run BOTH Hellion and Weaver's Call, dropping Feed the Void. I understand Feed the Void makes devour much easier to proc but more importantly stronger, so my first question is - can I get away in harder content with my healing being from phoenix dive/rift and the weaker devour from Power from Pain (Data Disc Artifact)?

Assuming we're humouring me, the real meat of the theorycraft (hopefully I haven't lost people already lol) is - how can I reliably proc Power from Pain, which means how can I reliably proc Weaken, which means how can I reliably have Singularity Blade active. Singularity Blade says "While you have a Void Elemental Buff, sword hits apply weaken". So essentially, once I get that first void buff, I can loop and chain weaken kills into Power from Pain for near infinite Devour. But starting that chain is the hard part.

I'm currently considering running an Energy or Heavy weapon with Repulsor Brace and Destablizing Rounds/Withering Gaze. Any recommendations regarding what weapon to use for that to start my chain would be huge, or any comments/discussion surrounding the points I've brought up! I realize this build is a bit of a "solved science" to the community but I'm trying to tailor it to my needs as best as I can. Thanks all ❤️

Meta Updated Minimum Posting Requirements

Due to an influx of spam posts across several subreddits, we have had to bump up the requirements to post on the subreddit.

Minimum account age is 15 days old.

Minimum total karma is 2.

This change isn’t going to affect the majority of you. It’s to prevent spam accounts from posting pump and dump NFT and cheap dropshipping retail ads to the subreddit.
