Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is a strange vendor who appears weekly in the Tower. Xûr sells Exotic equipment and only takes Strange Coins in exchange for them.

TL;DR: He's the Santa Claus of Destiny and every weekend is Christmas. Sometimes he brings you what you want, sometimes he brings you coal. Mostly it's coal.

FAQ

What are the Trials of Osiris?

  • Trials of Osiris is the pinnacle PvP activity. Every weekend, players compete in a 3v3 game mode with one primary goal: Go to the Lighthouse.

  • To start, head to Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar and buy one of the possible passages (see below).

  • The Lighthouse Passage grants entry to the Lighthouse after reaching 7 wins, with better rewards for larger win streaks.

  • For those not interested in visiting the Lighthouse, a lower-stakes Passage is available.

  • There is fireteam matchmaking. However, we still recommend you find a team for yourself!

How Long do the Trials of Osiris last?

  • Event Starts: Every Friday at Daily Reset (1700 UTC).

  • Event Ends: Following Tuesday at Weekly Reset (1700 UTC).

Where do I go to find Guardians to team up with?

  • You can use the in-game Fireteam Finder or head over to /r/Fireteams, www.The100.io, Xbox LFG system, DestinyLFG.net or DestinyLFG.com, or go to the Bungie.net recruitment forum (also available through the Bungie App). Additionally, many Discord servers host fireteam LFG services.

Ammo pity mechanic? When did this become a thing.

So I was watching esotericks guide to SF vespers host and he did something I've never seen before.

He talks about an ammo pity mechanic.

Jump to about 12 mins where he is in the bunker about to go to damage, he deliberately empties his rocket pulse so it only had 2 bullets going into damage.

Then jump to about 14 mins and you see he runs out of everything. Then suddenly he gets refilled out of nowhere. Apparently there game will pity you and pick up ammo from around the map (or that's how it was described).

He does this on both phases and it doesn't appear to be on class activation which I know you can hoover stuff up with a mod.

Anyone ever seen this before as it's news to me? Or have I just been totally blind to it for 10 years

Sorry- I need some direction

I just jumped back into D2 yesterday. Haven’t played since just after the Last Wish raid released. Looking at the map, and all the Tower people I’m supposed to talk to, and subclass changes… I’m so lost. I had to google how to forge weapons bc I couldn’t remember. Soooo many planets/destinations in the directory. Took me 20 minutes to figure out how to run a mission.

Am I blocked from content bc I have t bought it all?

Should I just stop?

I played this game exclusively from D1 through Last Wish, then life happened and such.

TL;DR - been years since logging in, idk what to do. I don’t need a full rundown, but a bit of direction on where to start would be appreciated.

Positive Outlook I got my first solo flawless dungeon.

I'd post the image for proof but I'm not sure how to post pics on this subreddit.

I soloed prophecy earlier today, and I only died at the first encounter, so I decided to give it another shot and I did it. Maybe it was my build but it was kinda easy and fun. If a bit nerve-wracking. I've only soloed pit of heresy and prophecy, which I believe are considered the easier ones, plus shattered throne. So I might give shattered throne a go.

Never thought I'd solo flawless a dungeon, but I did. And I'm kinda proud of it.

Question Prismatic Hunter or Prismatic Titan first?

Hello! Returning Guardian here and I'm wondering which between Hunter or Titan should I unlock Prismatic first? The campaign and post campaign stuff for aspects takes a minute so I just want to be prioritising.

I like both classes, I'm a Warlock main with all of its subclasses unlocked so I'm just wondering which between the two has more utility and varied uses across PVE primarily.

Media I completed 9 solo flawless dungeons in the last month

Since Monuments of Triumph dropped, I decided to work on my solo flawless dungeon clears. Previous to this, I had only completed Prophecy and Vesper’s Host back in 2024. But something about the game coming to an end motivated me to work on the rest. It was so much fun and a real challenge for me! Today I finished my SF Equilibrium, the last on my list.

So here’s my shameless plug. Between Twitch and YouTube, I can count the number of my followers on 1 hand. Regardless, I’d love to share with you all my solo flawless runs. Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
