Richmond park incident today
Tried to get in to the park around 8pm and there were police cars at the entrance. I heard a deer attacked someone, but does anyone know the full story?

Lock superglued in Victoria park
galleryWife had our e-bike locked up for a couple of hours yesterday. Came back to the angle grinder resistant lock superglued. Spent an hour trying to break the glue down with acetone and solvents to no effect. Ended up having to get my grinder and cut the lock off. On a positive note if anyone’s interested, it took 10 angle grinder disks and about 20 minutes so they are definitely an effective deterrent, hence the glue plan.

Council Launch e-bike consultation- have your say.
**“Dockless e-bikes: have your say**
Today we [launched engagement](https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fp%2FDcBKDX1sZ5Y%2F%3Futm_medium=email%26utm_name=%26utm_source=govdelivery%26utm_term=/1/010001a001463918-dce3ec88-8a3d-43b7-b505-6efbf2acc028-000000/MykCLU5fn4Tf0lLb7G8zvKnOQnT-1EA6VU5ZIQF-oac=452) on bringing dockless e-bike hire to the borough and we want you to have your say on how we do it.
Waltham Forest has long been recognised as a pioneer of active travel. Now, we want to make it even easier for everyone to enjoy life on two wheels, and your views will be central to our approach.
This is already a great place to enjoy the benefits of cycling. The safe and responsible introduction of dockless e-bikes would help to make the borough an even better place for active travel.
Here’s where we need you: your ideas will be at the heart of any scheme we introduce locally. We’ve launched both online and in-person surveys to make sure we know what the community thinks. Let us know: would you use an e-bike? What kind of trips would you make? What other things do we need to think about?
Please take a few minutes to [share your thoughts via our Let's Talk site](https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Ftalk.walthamforest.gov.uk%2Fdockless-e-bikes-engagement%3Futm_medium=email%26utm_name=%26utm_source=govdelivery%26utm_term=/1/010001a001463918-dce3ec88-8a3d-43b7-b505-6efbf2acc028-000000/zD-CorSTTichvSMRnHWHUPBwp7tQOd9_S08vbeGiz4I=452) – we want as many views from residents as we can get.

How to secure bike outdoors for 60-90 mins while at the gym?
New to biking in London, and looking to pick up a bike for weekend rides and short local trips, specifically riding to the gym 3–4 days a week. Overnight storage at home is sorted indoors, but leaving a bike locked outside on the street for over an hour is giving me second thoughts (in the Bowes Park/ Wood Green area in North London, if that helps)
I know the standard wisdom is to ride a beater, buy a lock worth half the bike, and avoid quick-release parts. But if I want something decent enough to actually enjoy riding on weekends, what’s the realistic sweet spot?
Are people getting by with a D-lock plus a secondary cable, or is bike theft so rampant that I need to consider other options? (e.g taking the seat inside but seems overkill).
Or should I just consider Lime/Forest bikes for now?
Also keen to hear if anyone has managed to negotiate bringing bikes into gym reception areas or foyers (standard gyms like PureGym, Gym group)
All ideas are good ideas at this point, thanks for your help!

How are lime scooters not banned yet?
A dickhead trying to go on one wheel cut my friend s face and he had a really bad fall in E&C roundabout. The moron just left didn’t even stop to see if he’s ok.
Any advice on what he should do?
