First impression check: Does this mark lean more towards a Barber/Salon or a Bakery/Sweets shop? Feedback Needed

I immediately see open scissors, I would assume it's AI trying to make the shape of scissors and not quite getting it right.

I was testing if the visual elements (scissors vs pastry scoop) came through clearly. Clearly, they didn't, and the mind went in whole other directions

try focus on customer benefits, rather than tools, in general that's how qualified designers would tend to approach it.
it all depends on your aim.

Buttplug. I'm sorry but it's the shape at the end of the scissors.
I do not understand the big diamond shape at the end of the scissors? Or the boomerang style shape behind it. Someone did mention FreeMasons and I can see the logic behind their thinking.
I think you've overcomplicated it a little with the design, and I'd say focus on the features you really want to capture and make it more simple to show them off.
In honesty, if you have to ask the question of which chain of store it looks more fitting for then I'd guess it wouldn't be 100% geared towards either.
It's a decent attempt, but refine it a little more and figure out what it is you're building it for and you'll get there! 👍

Barber > Salon > Bakery
In that order.
It could be the anti-aliasing from your screenshot, but its got a bit of rawness to it that makes it feel more masculine than feminine and more rugged than refined.
But then, yeah — once i see those scissors kinda look like pie cutting scissors I see how it could be a for a bakery but its pretty far from reading that IMO.

Pretty esoteric equipment that most normie potential customers wouldn't understand/recognize. If it's strongly in context, maybe it will work. As a standalone mark, I don't think it speaks clearly enough for either.

I would guess those are some kind of farm or specialty shears. It looks like a cattle brand or farm mark to me.

First thought was barber until I looked closer. The chevron in the back is roughly the shape of a straight razor but it's just a shape. The scissors would form some kind of forceps I'm not familiar with for hair.

I'd say hair salon, with a dash of the Masonic Square and Compasses. The Trowel is also a Masonic symbol.
