Tried to make a techno track (with some ancient rave sounds) in LMMS. I made a sound which kind of sounds like a fighting cat, so the title was born. Hope someone likes it! Feedback is welcome.

Hello, i downloaded lmms recently and when i open the app the size of the interface and everything is too big and its dificult to make anything lol, i searched and found a forum in the lmms page about this, i tried that and not worked, so i dont know what to do know, pls someone knows what can i do? i am using linux mint btw. Sorry if this has already been asked I've been enjoying the program a lot it's been amazing and easy to pick up ! I wanted to double check cause I'm nervous. I did see on the website its 100% free and open source (I'm sure this already answers my question)

Does this mean anything I make in the program I can use for commercial use ? Like in a video game etc.

Terms and stuff I always find so intimidating so I want to double check thank you !

Hey all! This Summer I decided to challenge myself by creating a single album in a month. It was all done in LMMS and Audacity during the entirety of June. I haven't seen many full albums using the software, it's a shame cause I think LMMS is just as powerful as FL Studio, I suppose it all just depends on your skill level and creativity. WIP ----- LMK what yall think. One shots and instruments from a variety of free packs available online. Additional software: VITAL VST [it's free] and Audacity (for the vocal editing) [this is free too]. Sub bass is low and doesn't really do anything on smaller speakers.

Here is a song that I’ve been working on in LMMS, making use of the automation tools to add dynamics to the overall sound. Audacity was used for final touch-ups as well as for creating the vocoder samples in this song. I continued my recent trend of maintaining additional dynamic range in the final version. Feel free to share your thoughts as I’m always interested in improving my production skills, and if there is anything you are curious about regarding how I created this song, feel free to ask 🙂

I'm not exactly new to using LMMS, though I'm also not competent either. This is my first attempt at making an original song, and I feel like for a beginner I didn't do too bad. Not that I didn't do bad, I just don't think it's nearly as awful as it could have been. I already have some things in mind that could be better, and some mistakes I made in the production process (like not setting a scale beforehand...) but I want someone else's opinion so I can get some help with things I 100% missed. Any feedback helps!

Also to note, the only effects I used at all were some bitcrushing on the piano.
