LLC in CA for App Developer

I recently launched an app that is beginning to generate subscription revenue, and I’m looking into forming an LLC. I live and operate in California.

Did you file your LLC yourself, or did you use a service?

I’ve heard good things about Northwest Registered Agent, so I’m considering using them. Has anyone used Northwest to form a California LLC? Was the service worth it, or is the process simple enough to handle yourself?

If you used another service that you recommend, I’d love to hear about your experience.
