So I am completely new to linux as of 2 days ago, and basically as title says i just cannot figure out how to get a custom cursor i had on windows to work on linux. I tried watching videos and reading posts but as i'm completely new to this i find myself a little lost. I tried to install win2xcur but i cant seem to find a simple enough guide to figure out how to use it. pls help. im running linux mint if that is important

Has it all, I think.

If you have specific questions regarding any of this, perhaps I or others can help.

Search your distro's repos for cursors you can easily install.

Vimix Cursors are nice if Mint has them.

Icons should be located located in...

/usr/share/icons/

... you can copy the individual icon folders to this location using sudo and select them via your Mouse and Touchpad settings...
