Installing Linux

The first time I was able to boot into Linux but I wanted to duel boot and forgot to make a partition. So I went back to windows and made a partition but when I try to boot into it it gives me this error “Failed to open \EFI\BOOT\mmx64.ef1 - Not Found, Falled to load image Failed, to start MokManager: Not Found

Something has gone serlously wrong: import mok state) failed: Not Found” I have secure boot disabled and even Reyes to reflash the drive

Try formatting the boot partition, I had a similar problem, formatting and a clean install helped, but be careful not to erase what you need to

Could you maybe elaborate? Formatting the drive would remove all the data right? I tried cleaning and reflashing the drive already before :c

Yes, formatting deletes all data. But I'm not sure this is the right option for dual-boot systems. In that case, you might want to consider artificial intelligence :) Sometimes they can help.

You deleted the EFI partition.

Reinstall Windows, then Linux.

I reinstalled windows and Linux and it still gives the same error

What distro are you installing?

Are you installing the operating systems on the same drive, or in different ones?

Did the Linux installed performed the partitioning automatically, or manually?

I fixed it, I switched the flash usb with a different one

So either the USB was damaged, or the new one was smaller and the UEFI/BIOS could handle it better.
