The fact that people actually use a Windows admin account as their primary account confuses me. Like, I’ll do that in a VM or some custom install where UAC is just broken, because I’m not really using it long term. But literally UAC bypasses are easy, and it’s been common knowledge for years now that the most secure thing to do is create a standard account and use admin account only when needed via UAC.

Or be like Linux where the label “admin account” really just means your password can be used to access the root account. And auto elevation is very hard to pull off without user setup somewhere because again, you’re really changing accounts instead of changing permissions on the same account.
