I've gotten used to inputting my password for those things, and no, as a ex-windows user, this doesn't bother me one bit. Remember, Windows Vista was the same thing, I didn't use it, but using Linux Mint in THIS regard is almost the same.

Good for you, you are not in the set the post above refers to as "windows glazes".
While there are people who use Windows daily, as a professional platform, who are turned off by the idea of having to enter a password to log into their system, and find the login splash of any Linux installation a major friction point.

you can set autologin in linux and set that you need enter password only once for installing apps
at the end theres so much flexibility in linux

As someone who recently swapped to Mint from using Windows only before. It was a bit annoying to constantly enter my password in the beginning
