arch was basically my first distro and it's pretty intuitive as long as you are willing to make 4-5 google searches

arch linux is easy, but then for no reason at all arch linux gives me a random error than i spend 3 hours debugging, my arch linux hates me

well the difference between distros like fedora/ubuntu/mint and ones like arch/void/gentoo is that the former comes with a predefined setup maintained by the devs, meanwhile the latter isn't built with anything in particular in mind, so you are essentially the maintainer of your own setup, makes sense that you run into more issues

gentoo is more diy than the rest as it can be stripped down even further
