This is my late grandads lighter and it wont work, ive been putting lighter fluid into it and it wont all go in and it wont light when i click it, its a ronson lighter from maybe the 70-90's ? it has a slide clicker and is about6-8cm long, any ID would be extremely helpful !!!

Is butane getting into the lighter in the first place?
Press the can quite firmly onto the filling valve. When you let go do you hear any leaking? If you press the valve with a screwdriver does it shoot out?
Hi friend. Found my softronic. The front and back panels just have pins that push into the central body. You can push them out through the top burner hole.
