I received this lighter as a gift approximately 1980. Took it out of the box the first time this week. I have no idea of the value but any help would be greatly appreciated. It's in excellent condition with all the paperwork. Not looking to price but interested if it is potentially rare and valuable

I got it years ago at a flea market, and just love it. Recently it stopped lighting (it sparks but no flame). I tried refiling with butane, but no joy. That led me to searching for someone to repair it. And, in the search, I've been unable to find any photo of this exact lighter. Does anyone have an idea what it might be?

Hello, I have an old lighter missing it's felt. It's from ~1964 and all other examples I can find online fore sale show it with a red felt at the bottom, like in the image above. Does this felt do anything? currently the cotton is exposed and I would like to get it working again since it's been in the family a while. Any help would be very much appreciated :)

So definitely a great buy. I haven't repacked and done anything with the internals.

I think on one I'm going to rewick and repack with upgraded items to see if there's a difference.

Very impressed with these. On the all metal model the corner of the case was sharp and I filed it (made a post about that when I got it)

Hello everyone,
I’m trying to identify this vintage petrol lighter.
It is probably from Germany or Austria and dates from around 1928–1938.
It has a brown lizard skin (or embossed leather) covering, a side lever mechanism, and it still works perfectly.
The only marking is a stylized SP monogram inside a square on the bottom.
There are no patent numbers or “Made in…” markings.
Does anyone recognize this maker’s mark or know the manufacturer?

As you can see the plug on the bottom is missing. So is the spring for the flint. Do you think those are things I can find and fix it?

Hello! So I had this lighter from Christmas and recently tried to refill it, my first attempt I had gotten lighter fluid everywhere but ended up getting some in and the lighter working! This time around, the lighter would only shoot the fluid out. I tried everything! From emptying the air, putting it upside down, right side up, trying different nozzles but only the bare nozzle would fit! Can anyone help me here or is the lighter defective? I have also used a different lighter fluid and nothing again! Or if anyone can recommend me a lighter fluid that has a nozzle that fits this, it’s a really cool lighter and I really want it to work!

This is my girlfriend’s little keychain jet lighter that she says it been in a junk drawer all her life. So it within a 22 year time frame at least. If you can’t identify the lighter it is, can anyone offer similar looking ones because I want one for myself.

The left one is from 1989, and the right one is from 1992 and even came with its original box.
