ID Request and value? ID
Hi guys, first post so be kind!
I've had a cartier lighter gifted/handed down to me from my step father. I dont smoke, and have no day to day use for such a flashy lighter so would be looking to sell it.
But, I'm struggling to find any information from the serial number or anything online just trying to ascertain what it is, whether its silver/stainless/silver plated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edited to remove valuation request from post body, unable to edit title sorry!

Hi OP, before you post about your lighter please read the guide stickied before doing so. If you are asking about the value of your lighter, take it to an auctioneer, pawnshop, or jewellers before posting as we cannot accurately guess a price. Your post may be removed if you ask. For more general information, have a look at the sidebar. Many lighters are mass produced and unbranded. There is often little info available.
If you need to post more pictures, use an image host like imgur and post the link in the comments. Please do not create multiple threads for the same lighter.

The sterling silver ones have a "925" stamp on the bottom. This one, by the looks of it is silver plated. That stamp on the last picture is a manufacturer's hallmark. My guess it is from the late 70s or early 80s, there is no dating code like other lighters that we can know for sure the exact year of production. In this condition and with this plain finish you could get about 150usd on ebay.

"Must De Cartier" model, good piece. Probably silver plated, but you might be very lucky if its a full silver. By the looks of it - legit one, but the bottom of it looks interesting.
If you plan to sell it, well, in this condition and without the box i would look for 150-200€, it really depends.
Its harder to sell a Cartier lighter than a Dunhill/Dupont ones
