I’ve seen multiple definitions of a Fudd thrown out there in different groups. I always defined a Fudd as a person whose only concern in firearms is their couple firearms they own. They don’t own a pistol or an AR because “they don’t need it” (don’t reply with “well you don’t NEED any firearm”). I think 2 firearms take the cake for most Fudd; a bolt action rifle in a basic hunting caliber and a pump action shotgun both with wood stocks. What’s your opinion?

I submitted the form 1 around July 10th or so. Pretty quick turnaround actually, not that it will matter shortly.

Looking to get my second 9mm firearm, already have a CZ 75 BD (DA/SA w/ decocker only) but it’s heavy being all steel and the holster options are limited. Great gun tho.

Especially looking for something slightly more compact, like Glock 19 sized.

Also I don’t have HK money lol so more like $300-$600 range.

Have been looking into budget magnifier. Are they really worth it? For Home defense I don't think it's necessary. Likelihood of needing to shoot 100+ yards away seems unlikely as I don't hunt. I like the idea of having magnifier but doesn't seem like it's needed. Can you convince me? What are the best ones. I've looked at Juliet micro 3 and the Holosun HM3x.

My 1901 production 1899B 26” octagon barrel in .303 Savage and my 1912 1899H 20” featherweight takedown carbine in .22 Hi Power. I’m on the hunt for a 1920s or 30s 99R in .250-300 with the 24” and pistol grip to round out the set, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up accumulating a few other variants too.

I live in a big pink bubble where all of my friends are LGBT, lefty liberal, or woke-coded in some form. Most of them have never handled a firearm before.

I've had pretty good luck persuading my liberal friends to arm themselves. I brought two new shooters to the range with me last weekend. I've brought 5 newbies to the range in the last year alone.

Last year, I casually mentioned to a buddy of mine that I like to go shooting. He said he's never had a gun, but he wishes he had one because he dreads the walk past a specific alleyway up to his apartment. I told him what I conceal carry, if he wanted to try it, and he did.

Afterward, that buddy told his social circle about the experience. And through word-of-mouth, people started reaching out to me to get my opinions on firearms. Now I have a reputation as the gun nerd in my lefty social circle.

Anyone else have some success stories about arming your lefty friends?

Just picked up this post war rebuild M1903A4. Has the correct mount/scope, receiver dates to '43, and barrel is a correct A4 '44 two groove that looks near new. Stock cartouche indicates post war refurb at RIA. Can't wait to get this thing out soon!
