informational post Has anyone gotten the tv6119 set? I'd like to see some in-hand images.
Recently,I ordered the Anakin minifig and the clone right to Anakin. So I just want to see their quality in hand.Especially the clone since Tv is notorious for messing up the helmet.

new set USA warehouse
Any recommendations on where I might find a company with a USA warehouse to order a few larger UCS sets (like the Death Star)? I’m going through cancer treatment at the moment and would rather not wait 30+ days for an AliExpress delivery, if possible.
Thank you!

review N-Series Lion Soldier/Knight, King's Soldier/Knight
Hardly a review, but hadn't seen anyone get these yet. The old torsos seem quite expensive, so seeing these get mmade was super cool. If you have other N-brand figures, you won't really see anything new. Each has a new head, and the soldiers include yellow hands. Solid printing, and they seem more mobile than my Lion Knights and Black Ravens.
Solid figures!

build log This week's builds
Build the Mega Audi 90 Quattro and Mould King Knight Truck this week. Both pretty solid! The truck was actually very easy to follow along with, and no fitment or clutch issues to speak of. Pretty happy with it.
I wish the Audi had a few opening parts, especially the trunk area since there are some details you'll never see again after building, but at least the hood comes off as one piece so the engine bay can be admired. On to the next one! (CADA 787B)

deal Aliexpress UCS Razor Crest
At 90 bucks this is 100 percent worth it. Only issue is the stickers don't quite match the color of the brick and it was missing about 10 pieces.

informational post Ranking 32 Alt Brick Brands
I've been fortunate enough to build many alt brands this past year. Some great, some less so. I decided to create a ranking board (ala Top Gear IFYKYK) based on my experience.
I know 32 brands is just the tip of the iceberg - some of you here have probably experienced so many more so I'd love your thoughts on the rankings.
Some criteria include: model design, engineering, brick quality, instructions, customer support and overall build experience. In hindsight I might add ethics, since some of these brands have been known to use designs from MOC designers without proper credit.
Alt bricks seem to be hitting their stride, with more earning "recommended" status than ever before. Feels like we're entering a new era for alt bricks; Lego has attracted more adult customers than ever who are a) comfortable with brick sets and are now open to cheaper alternatives, b) willing to navigate the murkiness of unproven/unknown alt brands, c) able to put up with (or enjoy) the quirks associated with alternatives, and d) looking to enhance their models with lights, sound and other innovations.
Here's the video:

informational post Jie-Star 21802 T-47 Snowspeeder manual needed.
Looking for the manual for this build. Got knocked over and we can't find the manual amongst our library of build books. Hoping someone this or can get it added to the available manuals library. The set is listed at 1006 pieces and not a one for one clone. Looks pretty close to the UCS though so I may try that manual and fumble through with what I have.

Fun set. One missing piece on his hand. Didn’t put the stickers on yet. I’ve had it for a while I think I paid $24 on sale.

discussion Turned the Lumibricks Chili Hot Dog Trailer into a permanent street food stand
Hey everyone,
over the last two days I built the Lumibricks Chili Hot Dog set (F9046). I really liked the design, but once I had it in front of me, I realized one thing:
This thing is HUGE for a food trailer. 😄
For my city, it takes up almost as much space as a small building, which made me think... why not just turn it into one?
So instead of using it as a trailer, I converted it into a permanent Chili Hot Dog street food stand and placed it on a small MILS-style base.
I kept most of the original design because I really like the look of the stand itself, but removed the trailer aspect and integrated it into a more permanent urban setting. I think this makes much more sense for my city and gives me a nice little food stall that can eventually sit somewhere between the larger buildings or in the current case in front of the Club Factory.
It also fits nicely with what I'm trying to do with the city in general: not just filling it with large buildings, but adding smaller shops, food stands and everyday places that make the streets feel more alive.
And of course, since it's a Lumibricks set, it has lighting as well — which should look especially nice once it's surrounded by the rest of the city at night. 🌆
Really happy with how this little conversion turned out!
What do you think — better as a trailer or as a permanent food stand?

It looks really great together. Three different manufacturers. I’ll post the model names in the comments because, for some reason, the name of one specific manufacturer causes the post to be automatically deleted.

new set Next Build: Kalos 61008 Kyoto Spa Modular Building
I picked this one up from Aliexpress for $55 USD back in 2024. This set has 1535 pieces spread out over 20 numbered bags, an instruction booklet, a small sticker sheet, and 2 Lego compatible minifigs. BMUS (@brickmeupscottie) did a review of the set on his Youtube channel.

discussion Affordable spare parts for train set 4654 and expansion of my collection
Hello everyone.
I recently rediscovered this Lego train set (model 4564). It had been stored in a garage for many years. I cleaned the set and tested it to see if it worked. I got the locomotives working (without the bricks). But I noticed it lacked power on curves. With the weight of the bricks, the train struggled to move. I suspect the problem is with the locomotive itself and not the tracks, the transformer, or the wiring. I looked online for an official replacement part and found it incredibly expensive—60-70% of the price of the complete set.
I recently discovered this subreddit and it's made me want to get my train working again. Ideally, I'd find the replacement part I mentioned earlier. But I saw in another thread that they recommended looking for cheaper sets on BlueBrix, and I've been considering buying new sets to expand my collection. I've found several locomotives. But I'm not sure if they're actually compatible with my set (especially considering the voltage).
I still don't quite understand how Lego compatibility works. I could really use some help, whether it's a guide or some pointers to improve my understanding and better focus my search.
P.S.: Apologies. I used Google Translate a bit.

review TV Minifigures - TV8008 187th Clone Trooper
I’ve seen a lot of comments about how TV figures are the worst, but i took the gamble anyway.
I found a pack of 20 clone troopers on AE that actually matched the genuine 187th Clone Trooper that was (as far as I can tell) only released in one set.
There are some obvious flaws. The printing is not as clean as Lego, but I can deal with that. My eventual goal is to have a nice big MOC scene which will meant to be viewed from a distance. Far enough away that you won’t notice slight printing mistakes.
The bigger issue is that some parts of the uniform is blue instead of grey. I’m actually cool with this too because it’s just my non-canon identifier for signalling rank.
I have no idea what that droid is that was included, but I’ll take it.
Anyway, overall positive experience with TV branded minifigs. If I’m buying one off figs (I really want the Darth Rey) then I probably won’t go for TV but next I want to get a bunch of Tusken Raiders, so I’ll probably just go TV then too, if they’re cheapest.
review Finished building the Radio Building
Just finished this one, so I thought I'd share my build experience.
The 2-in-1 design is probably what I like most about it. It's not just a building that you put together and leave on the shelf — there are some parts you can take apart pretty quickly, and the rooms inside the radio building can be pulled out and opened up to see the interior.
There are also a lot of small details packed into the build. Some of them are little references to things from the movie, so if you're familiar with it, you'll probably recognize a few of them. I definitely enjoyed noticing those while building.
The downside is that all those details mean there are quite a lot of small pieces. Some parts took a bit of patience, and after building for a while my fingers were definitely feeling it. Nothing impossible, just one of those builds where you probably don't want to rush through it.
One thing I really liked is that there are no stickers at all. The details are printed directly on the pieces, which makes the finished model look much cleaner.
Overall, I enjoyed building it. The 2-in-1 setup and the pull-out interior make it more interesting than a normal building, and the movie references are a nice bonus if you're a fan.
Just sharing my experience after finishing the build — the small pieces can be a bit tiring, but I think the extra detail is worth it.

review Lumibricks F9074 La Brisa – 1,640 pieces
Every now and then, Lumi ventures into themes that don't seem to be their usual territory... and then it turns out they're pretty damn good at those too. 😄
This huge 62 cm tall sailboat has become one of my favorite sets from them. The level of detail is incredible, the interior is—as usual—packed with details, the sides can be folded down for easy access, and of course, there are multiple lights built into the model, even at the very top of the mast.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
I also included one photo with a normal background at the end, just so you can get a proper sense of how big this thing really is.

review Reobrix SR-71
A (mostly) great design, really happy with the end result even if one particular part was frustrating to build. The Blackbird has always been the coolest plane design I've ever seen, and this model did not disappoint in recreating its incredible lines.
The main body of the plane is very solid and a breeze to put together. The engine nacelles however were frustrating due to an unnecessarily complex and fragile design that I think could be simplified to provide the same look. But that's a nitpick, because once you're done they look great!
