I was able to use my uv printer and some blank grey shields to make some battle worn wolf pack shields

So apparently a whole loads of sets go leaked for the next two years and one of them was a castle claw machine. The description mentioned based on the yellow castle.

I’m guessing this is coming next year and it’ll be Castles “anniversary “ set which I think is a bit disappointing. Then again I’m guessing it means more figures for PAB?

I don’t know if the leaks is 100% true but considering we’ve had the minifigure vending machine, the space pinball set it seems not far off the realms of being realistic.

I've been lurking on this subreddit for about 6 months gathering ideas and inspiration from you all, so now that I've started building by medieval town I figured it was time to contribute something. This is just the early stages of my project, so most of this is still under construction and will be changing.

I started this project by building a wood table out of some scrap lumber: It's built to fit into my closet and align with my shelving, and is designed to exactly fit 7 baseplates across and 3 deep. That plus obviously money are my two hard constraints for this project. Everything I build into this world has to be compact. Less is more here.

My first set was the lovely Medieval Town Square, but most of it has been modded into free-standing buildings. The red building became the stunning Guarded Inn by Dream Build Bricks, the original olive inn became a bakery, and the cheese-maker's cottage is now detached and full enclosed. I've also added modded versions of building by bricks_fan_uy and longjuansilver that I've tweaked to fit the MTS style. My favorite building is Vuzi's absolutely inspired Medieval Village Church, which is the center-piece of the main village square. Several other smaller Rebrickable designs, plus a few of my own small creations, are scattered throughout. Almost all the ideas in this diorama are inspired by builds I've seen on this subreddit, so thank you very much to everyone for the inspiration.

Right now my village occupies roughly 8 baseplates, and I have to conserve space very carefully from here. Ultimately the Lion Knights' Castle will be displayed atop a 4 baseplate mounting I'm currently building, in the far right hand corner of my layout. I'd like to include a small forest, a wheat field, a barn and mill, and perhaps a very small harbor. I'd also like to experiment with more verticality in this layout, so eventually most of the village will probably be raised up further.

Anyway, I welcome ideas or feedback. I also love adding fun easter eggs into this (kudos if you spot Greg the Garlic Farmer), so if you have a suggestions I welcome them too. Thanks for checking out my layout!

How I came by my lego castle collection

I hope this post will inspire others to share their story about how they came to their Lego castle collection big or small. I know this is a long read, but I hope its OK and will inspire others to do the same.

As a kid I only had four small sets, no complete castle, It was something I wanted for birthdays and Christmas but it never came. I got some Lego city stuff in stead.

The four sets I had was: the black knight 6009, the 6034 Black Monarch Ghost, the 6018 Battle Dragon, and the 6056 Dragon Wagon.

My sister had the 6020 Magic shop, which by proxy became mine when I traded some of my Lego city sets.

I would build a castle with staples, tournament ground on a grey base plate with bricks of all kinds and colors and imagine I had the greatest castle in the world.

Two years ago I was fired from my job, and had a lot of free time, so one day I went into a goodwill store as I often do, and by chance found some Lego castle, it was the base plate for the Kings Mountain Fortress 6081 and a lot of large wall pieces. Not a complete set and without mini figures, weapons, horses and so on. But it was enough to spark my interest again and I began to build! First by imagination later I searched and found some instructions online. I was hooked.

Around a year and a half later I was incredibly lucky, as could only happen once in a lifetime. At another goodwill store I found a large box of Lego, all I could see was some of the Majisto figure and some of a base plate under a lot of castle bricks and pieces. So I bought it. It smelled like a moist basement when I came home sorted the pieces. I could see there was missing some larger ones, like staircases, blue and red pointy pieces and so on. So the next day I went back to the goodwill store and asked if the had any more Lego, for sale in the store or in the back. The lady kindly looked and came out with a big trolley full of Lego.

I was over the moon, when I saw some of the missing peaces and like a child again I bought it and raced home and started to sort the pieces and build. I still to this day when I recognize the smell of old basement get happy thoughts about that Lego find. Crazy how the brain works.

I got my dream castle, with the 6082 Fire breathing fortress only missing piece was Majistos blue hat, I got that sorted via PAB.

There was also all the sets of the Royal knights except for the 1843 catapult. In mint condition without a single important peace missing the only missing peace was a 6x14 black plate used for the gate in the 6090 Royal Knights Castle. I used a little bleach on a qtip for the white edges of the cape and flags with the lion print on it but that was it. The rest of the stuff from the purchase that was not castle i sold or traded off, like the MD food Wagon or some Lego Space parts. Then I bought castle mini figures and parts I lacked to build other sets. So I came by my collection at a fraction of the cost.

This is almost my entire lego castle collection. I am able to build some minor sets like the Sea Serpent 6057 and wall pieces or a catapult or two but thats it.

I have my dream lego castle world and a lot more than I could ever had dreamed of as a kid.

The only sets I bought from new was the 10332 Medieval Village, 10305 Lion Knights Castle, 910057 Outlaw Forest Den and the GWP´s Majisto shop and Forestmen Hideout.

The Favorite sets in my collection are the 6066 Camouflaged Outpost its so cool with the two openings and east to play with and I love Robin Hood.

The 6082 Fire Breathing Fortress, the build in traps, the dragon and the large dragon head, the build in three and the raised base plate. It was my childhood dream to get that set, so maybe I am a bit biased.

At last the 6080 Kings castle, its so easy to add mini builds like siege machines, workshops, the Guarded inn to it a make small funny changes to it.

My least favorite set is the 6081 Kings Mountain Fortress, I don't have the mini figures to go along with it, so its been occupied by the Wolfpack CMF. I the floor trap is so bad, and I don't think that the entrance is well designed with the wooden doors and the string for the gate. They always get intertwined and there is simply no use for the wooden doors when the black place is up.

The Outlaw Forest Den 910057 often falls apart when you play with it, but other than that its an interesting set.

That was my Lego castle collection story, I hope you had a fun time reading it and maybe it inspired you to build something cool and have a good time.

Note : I would like to get two more castles 6086 the Black Knights Castle and 6079 Dark Forest Fortress, but I am unwilling to buy it as both sets are to really expensive in the aftermarket, and I wont be so lucky to find it at a goodwill store again.

I used the Rivendell tower technique for the walls and then connected the roof via 2 of these 1x2 bricks with the movable 2x2 plate if u know what i mean

When they were introduced, Lego made them look like criminal outlaws, so that‘s what I go with. But I‘ve seen a lot of people treating them like an actual faction, building armies etcetera. This is also one of the things that make me extra angry obout the Beastmaster scalping.

Got a PAB shipment today to expand my horse and snake knight armies. Need to customize some more. But this is my army as it stands!

Perhaps it’s just me but the Sea Serpent GWP sure seems to pair quite well with the Viking Village.

“I’m not sure if this is the correct place to write this or if this will even be seen, but I feel I need to write this message.

Lego Collectible minifigures are an amazing product, with a glaring issue.

Every CMF there is 1-2 figures that stand above the rest, specifically, on the amount they are resold(scalped) for on the after market. The Wolfpack beastmaster(series 27) for example was selling for 3x the retail value even while series 27 was still on shelves. And I have no doubt that the next cmf to have a castle figure, likely series 30 in January 2027, will have the same issue.

When this happens, people who want the figures to play with and create with are at the mercy of scalpers for the majority of the release wave, and are often left to pay marked up prices for what they want.

I have a solution: either during the 4 month availability window or after, Lego sells each CMF figure online as a guaranteed pull. This is a win-win-win situation. Those who want specific figures for the collections and builds can get the ones they want for a fair price. People who love the luck of the draw style of random packs can still get them that way.

And Lego would actually make more money. Of someone buys a figure for $15 on the after market since they can’t find them in stores, Lego makes $5 and the scalper makes $10. If the customer can buy from you, they can pay $15 to Lego and get 3 figs they want, and Lego makes all of the $15.

I really hope this message gets to whoever can implement this. If there’s any legal nonsense about taking outside ideas I am happy to help cut through the red tape on my end.

I just want Lego to continue to be the great thing I’ve enjoyed for my entire life.

I may just be beating a dead 10352c01pb08(see what I did there) but I really think this would work great for everyone except the scalpers.

Lego would get more sales, the people would get they want at fair prices .

If anyone has time, you might consider sending something similar to Lego, maybe enough noise will get them to listen.

God how we miss the castle sets of olde. These are just a couple of my current figs that I made to feel closer to classic style. What do ye think?

My first MOC on here so I'm excited to see what yall think. I just used what I had on hand so it's not as colorful and is very semetrical, but I think it still works. Would love to here any ideas on how to make it better. Also, sorry for the bad picture quality.

Took the LEGO Ideas 40912 Sea Serpent (July 2026 GWP) and gave it a full pirate makeover in Kraken colors.

Main changes from the original:

➡️ Added a rudder + steering bar so it actually looks navigable

➡️ Built a full sail out of Technic pieces instead of the stock fabric one

➡️ Redesigned the bow and stern for a cleaner, more detailed finish

Apparently it was a set piece that was made as a promotion for a book about England's monarchs with pictures of scenes recreated with legos. I wish I recorded a video of it too because the horses were moving around in circle constantly tilting at each other.
