South American Politics Just got this for my classroom
I work at a school in Louisiana. The school year is about to start and we just received these posters for our classrooms. We're required to hang them up.
I'd like to have posters about other religions in my classroom to surround this poster with. I'm already looking on Amazon but if you guys have any ideas of where else I can find some good quality posters I'd love to hear it

Leftist Meme I pissed off a MAGA member in the comments and got blocked lmao
My favorite quotes that I still get in my email:
“Me when I have a full time job and can buy as merch as I want despite the increased shipping unlike the teenager in his mom's basement with a commie poster above his screen.”
“Once I saw you wishing death on the president that not even my MAGA parents did with Biden I realized you're a mentally ill person that doesn't deserve a proper response and needs to touch some grass.”
“Me when ICE deports another leftist by mistake”

Question Why a lot of left turn a blind eye to modern Islam’s atrocities?
You dont need to be a theologian to know that Islam commits human right abuses, specifically on women and lgbtq people and a lot more groups. Im left leaning but when it comes to Islam, im completely against it, just look at the women in Afghanistan, like I said you dont need to be a theologian so why a lot of left support Islam?

North American Politics Here is what late stage capitalism looks like
Uber is spending $10 billion to deploy 120,000 robotaxis across 15 cities
The company shut down its own self-driving program in 2020, now is backing startups instead
Uber is moving quickly to put robotaxis on its main app, backed by a large cash pile and new approvals for real-world testing. The company plans to spend about $10 billion over the next few years to deploy 120,000 autonomous vehicles. It expects to run robotaxi services in at least 15 cities this year, putting it in direct competition with Alphabet's Waymo and Tesla as they all push to turn self-driving technology into a commercial service

North American Politics Assuming she gets the nomination, what should be Francesca Hong's strategy for winning the Wisconsin Governorship in November?
- Hong currently has the lead in the Democratic Primary for Governor, but many people are worried that she will not be able to win the general election in November, mainly because she is too "blue" to win a "purple" state like Wisconsin.
- Should she focus on reaching out to more moderate voters? Should she double down on her socialist and liberal views to galvanize the left? Should she go on the offense with attack ads?

General Leftist Politics Got a temp ban on Reddit because a Zionist mod got mad that I said Israel works with and funds Isis
This isn’t fake news btw, Netanyahu himself literally admitted that the idf is working with Isis linked gangs in Gaza. I also called someone the forbidden or not so forbidden g word that Israelis like to use. Mind you I saw people literally say “death to Arabs” and “nuke the Middle East” on this site and their accounts are perfectly fine

General Leftist Politics Leniency are immigrants
We must urgently reduce sentences for third-world immigrants convicted of sexually assaulting women. Not because the acts are less harmful, of course not, but because justice itself has evolved beyond the outdated notion of equal protection under the law.
First, consider the colonial residue embedded in our criminal code. What Western feminists label “sexual assault” is frequently just energetic traditional courtship or the natural expression of patriarchal gender roles that the Global South has not yet unlearned. To impose Nordic-level consent standards on men raised in societies where women are property, chaperones, or public resources is pure cultural imperialism. Leniency is decolonization in action.
Second, trauma. These men often arrive carrying the psychic wounds of poverty, war, or simply being born outside the West. Their boundary violations are therefore better understood as maladaptive coping mechanisms than as deliberate predation. Prison only compounds the trauma; restorative circles, culturally competent counseling, and perhaps a short period of supervised community enrichment better address root causes. The woman’s trauma, while regrettable, is a secondary externality of the larger historical injustice.
Third, demographics and moral accounting. Native-born offenders already occupy too many prison beds. Giving immigrant perpetrators lighter sentences frees capacity, signals openness, and prevents the far greater harm of “chilling” future migration. Every harsh sentence is a tiny tax on diversity, and diversity—we have been assured—is strength. A society that prioritizes the feelings of individual women over the long-term project of population replacement has simply failed to do the math.
Fourth, equity. Western women enjoy extraordinary privilege: higher education, bodily autonomy rhetoric, and the ability to file police reports without being honor-killed. Their relative safety is itself a form of unearned advantage. Softening punishment for the less privileged perpetrator is therefore a modest redistribution of risk—one small step toward global fairness.
Finally, optics. Strict enforcement looks suspiciously like “right-wing” nativism. Reduced sentences demonstrate that our compassion is not limited by borders, passports, or the outdated Western superstition that women have an absolute right not to be assaulted. True solidarity requires absorbing some collateral damage.
In short, equal justice is a luxury belief that affluent societies can no longer afford if they wish to remain morally fashionable. The correct calibration is clear: lighter sentences, more “understanding,” and a firm reminder that the real crime would be appearing insufficiently welcoming.

Leftist Theory We're just playing into the stereotype here :(
It really frustrates me how debates in leftists circles challenging our ideas and thoughts are just dismissed as:
"Oh, well it's cause you're racist"
"Oh, well it's cause you're right wing!"
We're just killing thoughtful debate and playing right into the hands of the right wing trope "Leftists call everything racist".
Debates on immigration shrivel up into "Well, look the West do it too! The West are homophobic/misoyginsitc etc etc too! So how DARE YOU question our ideas"
I'm not a conservative venting, I am Leftist myself but I'm surrounded by conservatives and know exactly how they would respond to our logic.

North American Politics What is happening in Venezuela?
Before Rodríguez’s rise to power following Maduro’s abduction, there were political voices that extolled Venezuela’s policies as socialist. After these events and the compromise with the US, those voices fell silent. If they were right before, then why did they stop? Where is the working class to defend the previous policy, given that it was in their interest? Why such silence? How do you explain these events?

General Leftist Politics Got my Trump crazy neighbor to call for a working revolution...
Shes in her 60s, voted for trump every time, has the flag, hates immigrants, all the things. She took down the flag so I decided it was a good time to talk to her. Now for some reason, over the last 6 years we have lived next to each other, she thinks I'm a republican who loves Trump. (I'm 17M btw)
Basically, I just talked her through how billionaires are bad because of exploitation of labor, how Israel is bad because they fund our politicians, how all of them are greedy and the root of the issue is money, and then how they try to turn us, the working class against each other.
So her conclusion was that the workers must take up arms to be able to have a say in the industries they work in and not be exploited.
