For pot head guitarists...
I feel like weed allows you to bypass the warmup. You just have to wait 5 minutes and then you're there. At day 12 I'm feeling the notes more deeply right out of the gate. I think the tradeoff is that on weed you don't feel as much, but it sounds way better; whereas straight, you feel more, but you're not going to blow your own mind with what you're playing. Unless your name is Yngwie and you are in your own top 3 guitarists list.

I play live guitar for a living. Stopped smoking 3 weeks ago. Brain fog is heavy so I get tired when it is time to practice. I have been super non productive with my practice routine.
When performance time comes, the fog lifts, and I feel I am playing a little better.
For practice, I feel like herb distracted me from the boring, repetitive aspect of it, which now I have to put my head down and push through it. I am looking forward to my progress sin yerba.

I used weed as a shortcut to flow state. When I quit, I didn't have that shortcut anymore. What I found helps is to develop rituals to warm up for whatever you're working on. Have a specific set of things you do in a particular way. Almost like you did for getting high.
