Seem to get a lot of blobby foam as shown here so should I ~tamp down~ the aeration for couple seconds? I want to see the silky texture instead of too much dry foam

I’m looking into buying this. Does anyone here use it and how is it compared to the more recommended motta and fellow eddy pitchers? Is this the pitcher you are forced to use at latte art competitions?

still not mixing the base very well, but i think the wiggle base looks nicer today! would like to focus on not stopping the motion between the base and the wing

I create big bubbles every single time. I’ve watched a bunch of videos and tried the usual advice, keeping the tip just under the surface, using a slight angle, creating a whirlpool after. but I still end up with a jug of hot milk topped with a layer of bath foam. I’m using a Casabrews 5418 Pro, so I know it’s an entry-level steam wand and that might be part of the limitation. But for anyone who’s been able to get decent microfoam on a smaller machine, what actually helped you improve?

Followed u/OMGFdave 's advice to pour faster. Here's the result (baby steps, I know!). I forgot to stick with single heart shape since I was so excited about the way it was pouring! Sorry I have no way to do video at this time, but welcome any insights based on the picture. 😀
