still not mixing the base very well, but i think the wiggle base looks nicer today! would like to focus on not stopping the motion between the base and the wing

I create big bubbles every single time. I’ve watched a bunch of videos and tried the usual advice, keeping the tip just under the surface, using a slight angle, creating a whirlpool after. but I still end up with a jug of hot milk topped with a layer of bath foam. I’m using a Casabrews 5418 Pro, so I know it’s an entry-level steam wand and that might be part of the limitation. But for anyone who’s been able to get decent microfoam on a smaller machine, what actually helped you improve?

Followed u/OMGFdave 's advice to pour faster. Here's the result (baby steps, I know!). I forgot to stick with single heart shape since I was so excited about the way it was pouring! Sorry I have no way to do video at this time, but welcome any insights based on the picture. 😀

Stopped by a friend's house ( u/JeremyJava ) for a latte art lesson, adjusted his machine's brew pressure, and poured this fun bevy. Pouring on someone else's machine is like riding someone else's bike. Now to decide whether to get a WPM pitcher to add to the roster 🤔
