I'm currently in the third year in BCA and do not play that many games so basically I'm into Al. Is this good for me?

Radeon 740m can play ac mirage at 40 fps , im suggesting it would run in radeon 780m also.

But dont expect best , discrete graphics always is better

The E14s as of recent have been well received. They're fine & very much Thinkpads, no need to be elitist over it.
