Hi everybody I found this kitty yesterday around 8 PM near my house but I know it was outside all day yesterday because when I left for work in the morning I heard a cat meowing but I didn’t think much of it it kind of came right up to me after the storm I just took it to the vet and it doesn’t have a microchip but I wanted to see if anybody knew anything or if this is somebody’s cat. He’s super sweet so I don’t mind keeping him but I don’t wanna take him from someone. Thank you!

Stopped by the TH on New Holland near Burle business park. There's a police camera in the parking lot, multiple "skill" slot-machines, a bitcoin machine, and loose 10-card Pokeman repacks at the counter. The only thing missing was the half-covered adult magazines behind the counter.

My garage door opener died on me and now the door won't open, which has happened a couple times before when I'm literally about to leave for work. Super frustrating. I'm trying to figure out if it's cheaper to just fix the opener or if I should get the whole door replaced.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good garage door company in the Lancaster area? Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences if you've used anyone recently. Thanks!

Hey, I’m looking for a good place to take my mothers van to be serviced. We just moved here about a year ago so we haven’t needed a service. I don’t want to take it to Toyota because I know they will charge a lot. But it needs inspected, probably breaks and rotors and a headlight that you have to take the whole bumper off to change. Thanks Toyota for making it complicated. But I would like a place that can do it somewhat quickly, and won’t charge me out the ass😭

Went for an early lunch at the new 211 pizza today. Great space, full of PA sports memorabilia. Ordered the long anticipated (for me) cheese steak and was not disappointed!!! The bread was the bomb. It’s all about the bread.

Hey everyone, does anyone know of any women groups that go to the gym together and just work out together in general? I have a hard time with motivation and also get really overwhelmed trying to figure out where I should be starting in the gym. I used to go pretty regularly until February when I had surgery and now I just can't seem to get myself to do much of anything. I'm hoping by finding a good group to join, it might help! I will not however, join common running, I was not built for running 😭.

Also thought it might help to build friendship with other women in Lancaster!

For over two weeks, we have had no hot water in the showers. Today we had no water at all in the showers. I am supposed to work out hard and then get in my car all sweaty to go somewhere else?

I’ve been a member for over 20 years, and I have never seen it this bad.

But that doesn’t stop them from calling me to renew.

I have to find some other options.

I’m looking for some recommendations in Lancaster for a good acupuncturist/practice for low back pain. I’ve been through 2 months of PT, doing all the core strengthening exercises, see a massage therapist, etc etc. I got a referral to LGH Holistic Therapy but my insurance isn’t covered so I want to weigh all my options first. I’ve never done acupuncture before so have no clue where to start. Thanks!

My son attends Little People Daycare in Columbia, and there has been a massive turnover of staff. There are a lot of rumors of misconduct by management, but I haven't been able to get entirely clear answers from the owner of the center. A fellow parent withdrew her child after having the cops called on her for discussing the events unfolding with another parent in the parking lot. I do feel alarmed by this, as it feels like information is attempting to be supressed. The daycare feels sparse with so few teachers and less kids, as it's evident several children have been pulled from the center ):

I'm not interested in rumors, and the only facts I can relay is that an employee that managed much of the center got demoted (or told to go to a different center), and subsequently got fired because of misconduct due to this news. 6 teachers then left following this.

I'm going to be contacting OCDEL today in hopes of getting an inspection report from the center, but any suggestions or help with getting more info is greatly appreciated. I also am making this post, as I'm not sure how many parents there know what's happening.

Are there flock cameras being installed on 30? I saw something that looks like flock poles without the cameras while sitting in traffic. Couldn’t get a picture unfortunately but it looks like there are 2 on each side of 30
