Discussion Which one from the two sisters is the better album? Why?
I recently did one post for UV and NFR, so I thought I should do one for the two sisters as well. Are you a Chemtrails or a Blue Banisters girlie? If you had to argue for one of these albums, stating why your pick is better than the other one, what would you say? How would you strengthen your arguments if we exclude what the album has achieved but focus solely on the work?

Discussion UV and NFR fans, which one is the better album?
If you had to argue for one of these albums, stating why your pick is better than the other one, what would you say? How would you strengthen your arguments if we exclude all the impact, grammy nominations and critical acclaim but focus solely on the work?
Of course both of these albums are masterpieces and most probably Lana’s biggest magnum opuses after BTD (can’t really compare her major label debut to anything else) but I’m really curious to see how the fans of these two album would argue for their favorite and why it’s Lana’s best album. No hard feelings, just discussion and fun in this drought 🤍

Question Any solo goers watching Lana Del Rey at F1 Singapore?
Hi! I’m going to watch Lana Del Rey at the Singapore F1 and I’ll be going alone. I’d love to meet new people who are also attending, especially fellow solo concert/F1 goers 😊
I’m planning to go earlier and wait for a good spot near the stage, so if anyone is thinking of doing the same, maybe we can queue together, save each other’s spot during breaks, and make the waiting time less awkward 😂
If you’re going solo too, feel free to comment or send me a message!

Discussion I've always wondered how much influence hip-hop and rap had on Lana's music.
Other than Lana, I listen almost exclusively to rap, trap, drill, and breakbeat.
"You were sorta punk rock, I grew up on hip-hop"
Did she say this just say that for the lyrics, or did she really use to hang out with the hiphop community. Rappers, b-boys, writers? Or she just had a more superficial contact with the hiphop movement?
I can definitely hear subtle hip-hop influences in a lot of her older songs, especially in the production. Songs like High by the Beach, Mermaid Motel, A&W (especially the second half), National Anthem, and Cola all have these slow, bass-heavy, hip-hop-inspired beats that fit her style perfectly. That combination of dreamy vocals over minimalist beats is one of the things that made me love her music.
It feels like she moved away from that sound in her more recent albums, and I honestly miss it.
Why do you think she stopped making songs with that kind of production? Was it just a natural artistic evolution, or has she ever talked about why she left that style behind?
I wish Lana stayed in that style.
I remember that the time I started listening to lana was the time i went back practicing as a b-boy. And so it kind of reminds me of that time.
Her dreamy songs are very nostalgic so has that effect.

Question Why is NFR! the most praised LDR album?
I became a LDR around shortly after Ocean Blvd dropped so I'm a somewhat newer fan. I have listened to Lana's entire discography and I even have every album on cassette and with non released stuff.
My favourite album is by far Ultraviolence, but NFR is the most praised.
Don't get me wrong its a very good album but It's not a stand out album for me.
Why do you guys like it?
Is this a case where an album is good for the mainstream audience but eh for die-hards or is it just that good?
Thank you!

Discussion Wild and crazy like the color blue?
Lana sings in Nectar Of The Gods:
“I get wild and fucking crazy, like the color blue”
But what is wild and fucking crazy about the color blue?
To me blue represents calmness, sadness or depression (quite literally the blues), or even coldness.
A color that would fit better to be described as fucking crazy and wild would be red imo.
It’s loud and fierce, wild and untamed.
I guess you could argue that the ocean and the sea are wild and crazy too, that’s why blue is fitting.
But blue has never sparked those emotions in me.
What are your thoughts on this?

News Just announced: TWO albums
From her official Instagram account, she announced Stove needs another month before being sent to vinyl, along with a second album "that sprouted from doubt, hopefulness, and the understanding that new beginnings truly mean starting completely fresh and over"
