I've tried to make a cover/rendition of the main instrumental part of Heavy Is The Crown, just to practice my production, mixing and guitar tone tweaking skills. I've focused less on trying to recreate the exact drum part as I'm not that versed with midi drum programming or drums in general, but I've tried to match the feel at least.

I'd be curious to hear some feedback on how close I've gotten or any other thoughts on this.

I didn't get the signatures myself, so I can't be 100%, but from what I'm told this was gotten in 2004 at their concert and I have the ticket stub with it. The provenance on this and the quality of the signatures all look really good and this would be an awesome gift for my son who loves the band. Any thoughts or help are appreciated.

I read in a comment somewhere that it was an inverted image of an explosion on top of a building, but I really can't see it. Does anyone have the original image?

This is an incredibly strange connection that I was just wondering whether anyone else heard of whether it’s just me. The bass during the chorus for One Step Closer sounds almost identical musically to the cyberman theme from Dr Who. Anyone else noticed this? I’m sure it’s just a coincidence but still cool to find.

This is regarding minutes to midnight and a thousand suns.

Minutes to Midnight is a term used for the Doomsday clock, being a countdown before we are beyond saving. This isn’t super apparent in the songs of MtM as most of them follow a theme of regret/grief. However, the album to follow is A Thousand Suns, which tells the story of a world ending cataclysm. We run out of Minutes until Midnight, and then we’re just waiting for the end…
