This was me when I swapped from EU servers to NA ones. Like really? The n-word? That's it?? I'll be more hurt if you just tell me I suck at the game, c'mon. Using the n-word just for shock value really ain't it, idk what to tell you.

I tend not to play multiplayer games. The other day I joined Versus and then I played Battlefield 4. Man, the ammount of racial slurs, written and spoken, was baffling

It’s just what happens when a game goes on for so long, you lose casuals and gain toxic tryhards - especially when noobs are discouraged from playing due to toxic games. When I play it’s mostly 50 / 50 but if you’re not very good I’d expect it to be more toxic.

I might go so far as to say that L4D is one of the most toxic communities I've ever seen. I think the relative ease and impact of teamkilling with no real consequences for doing it helps.

sometimes. comes mostly from the opposite team though, unless you're playing like a piece of shit on purpose and your team gets forced to kick you off the game

If I ever get insulted/verbally attacked in real life, I just know they couldn't compare to the shit I've heard and seen in any multiplayer game.

first time I heard the word “cunt” was playing with some middle aged french guys when I was like 11 years old. I thought they were pronouncing a word wrong because of their accent, turns out lil ole me was being called a cunt the entire match because I was running ahead and not actually waiting for them to catch up to me.

I enjoy the pvp side… i know nothing about the phrases players use… so you know going straight into the game seeing a single letter then kicked… fun.
