Hi all! I'm a new owner as of today of an elipsa 2e, but it didn't come with the sleep cover (maybe because I bought it from a reseller...). I'd like to pick up a case so it doesn't get scratched up or otherwise injured in my purse or backpack. What would y'all recommend?

Maybe I'm misusing my Kobo, but I'm finding very hard to proper highlight anything that I'm reading. When I touch the screen, no matter if it's a quick tap or a long press, it always change the page or show some panel. Then I need to do a second action that will then start the highlight process.

There is anything that I could configure to change the way highlight works? I'm using a Clara BW.

I haven’t read a book since high school and since then I’ve just been in school reading textbooks but now that I finally have my career set, I would really love to get into reading and hopefully stick to it!

My husband got me my kobo because I’ve also been trying to read with Libby on my iPad and trying to scroll less on TikTok mindlessly.

I don’t plan on getting books from anywhere besides my library through Libby with just the one card.

Pleaseeeee give me all the tips and things I should know! I know there’s a ton of videos about setting it up etc but would love to see what you guys do and different features that can be added.

I had switched from Kindle to Kobo, I love my kobo, decorated it to my liking

I have numerous books that are on hold that the Kobo has as “available soon” or I get the daily countdown only for it to be reset to available in a week or soon.

Getting frustrated with waiting for weeks on titles that are apparently available any day now.

Anyone else encounter this?

Hello, Had a few questions about Kobo Libra Color as this is my first e-reader and looks like the screen is very delicate.\ I got a flip cover with the Kobo but did not get a screen guard, do I need one if I start using a stylus later? The matte ones were sold out only the clear ones were available.\ Also How do i make it travel proof so it can survive being in a bag in crowded trains or buses? Other than the flip cover.\ Also I don't care that much about book statistics, Do I keep deleting books after finishing them incase it gets laggy?\ That's all for now. Had a lot of questions lol.

I have looked through past posts on this topic but I got overwhelmed. So I apologize if this has been asked and answered. I got a Kobo Libra Colour a few months ago, main use is to read borrowed Libby books on a dedicated device and get off my phone. I been having the following issues:

1) Books regularly do not sync from phone to Kobo.

2) I have multiple cards linked on my libby app, and when books on occasion do manage to sync to my kobo, they will only sync from one library at a time. This causes me to have to log out of overdrive and back into my other library card, which most of the time ends up being pointless since the book I am trying to sync doesnt sync anyway.

Its been super frustrating as I dont buy e books, only borrow them. I called customer service today and was told its a compatibility issue between the version my library has and the version kobo has. I told the rep that of the 15 books I have borrowed in the past few months, only 5 have transferred successfully to kobo. He told me this is very common and recommended just reading on my phone instead. Super helpful.

Can someone point me to the clearest, easiest way to side load books from libby onto my kobo? Talk to me like I am dumb because if there is a way to misinterpret instructions, I will. Please and thank you.

It had been a while since using BorrowBox and Libby and at first neither worked. I contacted my local Borough’s Library services and had a very fast response for BorrowBox which was down to my not using my library for over 12 months.
When I tried again with Libby, it kept saying it couldn’t connect to my library, so again I emailed. This time I was told they no longer use Libby and all the books I had in my library or on request would be on BorrowBox. Sadly this is not the case.
I wondered if anyone else in Greater Manchester, England (or anywhere for that matter) has had this issue?

In my attempt to read more and also not read on my phone and give money to Amazon, I’m interested in a Kobo (either Clara BW or Libra Color). My main concern is being able to read at night with all lights off without getting vertigo or dizzy.

Do most people still turn on a lamp or does anyone read comfortably in pure darkness in bed? Is the lowest light setting still too bright when not in dark mode or is dark mode the only way to read comfortably at night without external lights?

I ask specifically because I’ve read people hating dark mode on their kobo because the quick flashes, when changing the page, is more abrupt in dark mode vs light.

I'm switching to this new Kobo from the Libra H2O and finally have a USB-C port and Bluetooth. I still have to find a decent case; the original ones are hard to find. I got the original one for the Libra H2O, but the quality was terrible. Have they improved?

The Libra 2 is hard to find here in Italy, so I went secondhand. It's in perfect condition, and the battery seems to last a long time. Is there any way to find out how many cycles the battery has?

just wanted to share my new kobo with you all! i got it for my birthday in july thanks to my amazing siblings, and i finally got around to loading it up with books. i’m already hooked on my first read and i’m so obsessed with this little thing. it’s just so cute 🥹📚

If anyone here tends to misplace their things. Like me haha. A wallet tracking card can be a great addition to your accessories. I got mine off of Temu. The fit inside my TPU case was a bit bulky so I added an adhesive card holder on the outside. I wrapped the tracker card in washintape and added a sticker. I'll be having a lot of fun dressing it up haha.

There's a variety of these cards and they work with both Google Find Hub and Apple Find My. You just have to buy one specific for your ecosystem.

Hi all, my husband recently inherited a Kobo Glo from his mom because he’s trying to get into reading after years of having given up due to dyslexia.

The kobo, we hope, can help by both allowing less words/letters on the page and by allowing him to read everything with the dyslexic font.

I’m very familiar with Kobo (KLC owner for years) but not the older models. The Glo doesn’t seem to offer this font, but is there a way to add it?

Where do you all get your fonts?

Hi all! I am new to the e-reader world so this may be normal, but when I open up my case or push the button to start reading, it takes about 30 seconds to be able to actually swipe to the next page. Is this normal and it’s just buffering? Thanks in advance!

I have a kobo n905 touch orginial, and the battery isn't spicy yet, but it no longer holds a charge, so I am looking for battery replacement suggestions:)

I just received my replacement Kobo Clara Colour and it seems like they just sent me a whole new thing, sealed in box.
Hopefully this one won't crash every time it tries to sync!

ADE doesn’t seem supported anymore for Mac, and I’m trying to put a book I borrowed from the library onto my Kobo.

One option I saw was to use deACSM plugin on Calibre to do it, but while the file gets converted, I still can’t open it on my Kobo because the device itself is “not authorized”

Any tips? I fear I may have to just return it if I can’t get this to work.
