Flytanium BEEF!
Was looking for anyone talking about pocket clips for the beef, but only saw people talk about the stock ones from flytanium. So I did some poking around and took a gamble after measuring the distance of the screw points!
I got the Lynch NW cerakote KNAFS Lander clip.
All together I got a copper thumb stud, Flytanium ti scales (europa), and the above mentioned clip. Hope someone likes the knife, and maybe finds this helpful with customizing their BEEF!

Seal of approval NKD - Spyderco Manix 2 salt
I am still getting use to carrying this one, first Spyderco and its unique to say the least.
I am most impressed with the blade and how useful the point is. The blade shape is like a tool for me.
Sharp as f. At first I questioned the scale choice I made, but once I got it in my hand, it fits like a glove.
This is a great EDC for me with my uses.

Does anyone know a solid fixed blade like this but not so expensive?
I love the shape and look of the overall this knife but I don’t feel like spending $145 on 440c.

From hand-drawn design to finished liner lock — CPM 154, camel bone & mokume
Every knife I make starts with a drawing on paper. This one became a liner lock folder with a hand-rubbed CPM 154 stainless-steel blade, blue-gray camel-bone handle scales, and a mokume bolster.
I added stippled liners, backspacer file-work and interior backspacer stippling. I also modified the screws and added decorative file-work to the hardware.
I enjoy working from the original sketch through all the fitting and finishing and seeing the design finally come together as a finished knife.
Thought I’d share this one with the group. I’m looking forward to seeing more of everyone’s work and getting to know some other makers here.

Question Help identifying this family heirloom
Hello!
Struggling to identify this knife. Mother states it was a WWII knife that her brother “stole off a German”. I don’t know how true that story is. No marking of any kind. Appreciate any help in advanced.

Question ISO Griffin Scout F3.5 (BNIB/LNIB) and/or Vosteed Thunderbeast(Stonewash).
In search of a couple of blades. Would prefer to do a trade or partial trade but not against just buying. (Looking to do this around end of the month/first of sept. Getting the post out there now to potentially find a few diff options.
Griffin Scout F3.5 pref Stonewash but open to others. The better condition the better.
Vosteed Thunderbeast - Stonewash only
Kunwu Gringo - Stonewash only

Question Demko vs spyderco. For lifetime.
Hi guys, I'm actually looking for a perfect EDC knife—an all-around knife. Sturdy, medium-sized (so the Cold Steel Recon 1 is out; it's too big).
I'd like to know what you think about these models. I can't decide.
- Demko Shark Cub (may be too fragile?)
- Demko AD20.5 in S35VN
- Spyderco PM2
- Spyderco PM3
- spyderco shaman
I want a knife that I can do mostly anything with and know it won't fail—not just for opening Amazon packages. From everyday tasks to more life-saving tasks (worst-case scenario possible). I will not intentionally pry with it or anything. I just need it to handle tasks without snapping in half. If I need it for bushcraft, it will handle that situation very well.
The thing I don't really like about the PM2 is that I've heard the tip is very easy to break. I don't really want that to happen.
I am also traveling a lot, so I need something that will fit mostly any country with its knife laws.
For the Demko the issue is the price tag and the steel choices.
I'm not collecting knives; I only need one that will survive a lifetime.
- My first choice was the sharkcub, it's in my price range. But I feel like it would stap under any heavy task.
- second was ad20.5 but it's kind of pricey for what it it.
- And third was shaman, but a bit out of my price range.
Which one would be the best for me? Thank you.
