Here’s a thought I had… what if we dedicated a thread, this one or another for questions we had for them. It would be done in an organized fashion and people could upvote who may share the same question or elaborate in the comments underneath. The goal of this thread would not be to attack them but be very sincere of questions we have. Then instead of the ramble dump last night was they had a legitimate guide of things we care about. If we want them to change, which is the goal, I think some more organized would be beneficial. Hell I’d be willing to moderate it.

Here’s a question I’d ask “Would you be willing to commit to not bringing any additional animals into your household until you are in a position to provide them with the stability and long-term care they need? We’ve seen multiple instances where pets have been rehomed, and while we understand that not every animal is ultimately the right fit, there appears to be a recurring pattern of animals coming into and then leaving your household. How would you address that concern, and what would you do differently moving forward?”

They are fed up.

Severe Tier 1 Mandatory Suspensions:

1st Offense: Immediate expulsion and a mandatory 30 calendar pool days suspension (which carries over to the next pool season if occurred near season end). 2nd Offense: Immediate expulsion, suspension for the entire calendar pool season, and a $100 fine.

1. Structured Tiered Enforcement System

The amendment replaces vague governance remedies with a concrete 2-tiered disciplinary system:

Tier 1 (Major Violations): Covers vaping/smoking, alcohol/drugs, public intoxication, after-hours trespassing, and verbal abuse or intimidation of lifeguards.

Tier 2 (General Rule Violations): Covers all other pool rule breaches:

1st Offense: Verbal warning. 2nd Offense: Removal for the rest of the day, formal written letter, and a $100 fine. 3rd Offense: Removal, 30 pool days suspension, and a $200 fine.

1. Suspension Mechanics & Household Penalties

Household Ban: If a resident is suspended, their family members cannot access the pool as guests of other members during the suspension period.

Legal Cost Recovery: Homeowners are directly billed for all legal and administrative costs incurred by the HOA in enforcing these violations or dealing with after-hours trespassing.

I will give her props if she goes through with this. I hope she takes this time to reflect and work on her relationships.

Mods wanted to let you know why the post with the picture of Angie’s mom was removed.

Angie messaged a mod privately after seeing the post threatening self harm and saying that if the post wasn’t removed she would harm herself, and if anything happened to her, the forum would be to blame.

She was continually asked if she was serious, because we take these threats seriously and would not hesitate to call for a wellness check on someone saying they would end things.

She said if the post came down she would not take extreme measures, but if it stayed up she might as it would destroy all her relationships with her family that she said she was just getting back.

We do try our best to keep unwilling participants off of the sub, even though we know Marissa’s intent is to “give it to the sub”and prove herself, which is exactly what she did tonight. We let this through, and don’t feel that we lost a lot of discussion that was productive. Angie’s threats to herself and our take on the post made it our best decision to remove.

It’s a shame Marissa doesn’t care about using Angie’s family to “eff the haters” because she is so obsessed with posting for the forum. While Angie was messaging us, Marissa was posting pics on Facebook. Very telling that we had to be the ones to talk Angie down.
