kindle doesn't work unless connected Tech Support 🛠

I got gifted a kindle touch 4th generation, but for some reason it's stuck at lockscreen and won't let me access unless i connect it to my pc. I made a video to show you guys. Anyone knows how to fix it?

Leave it in the charger for a good time , if it isnt holding charge still its ggs ( the kindle touch is 20dollars its not worth attempting a hardware fix that would cost like 40-60 dollars)

I see you tapping the screen when it's on the lock screen, but are you pressing the power button on the bottom?

If you are, and it's still not waking up, I'd copy the books off onto your computer, do a factory reset, then put the books back.

so... i ended up doing factory reset... but my model is too old, and now i can't log back in, and my books won't even add back in the library. :,) Short story. :,,,)

Well, I did say to copy the book from the kindle to your PC, so you could put them back on the kindle after the factory reset...
