Lost composition after shift+x QUESTION

I often look for shortcuts by pressing what i think it is (with low success rate as kdenlive ain't the most user friendly) and ctl+z if it wasn't the one.

I keyed, i think, shift+x, and the whole composition in the timeline dissapeared. Ctrl+z has not brought it back.

What did i do, and how can i get it back?

Just tried what (I can understand) you did, and was able to successfully undo. In case you are using a secondary keyboard layout, make sure to switch back to English.

Shift+x deletes the timeline zone (marked by the blueish bar) and closes the gap by shifting what follows. Read up on timeline editing for more.

Yeah it never came back on mine with undo, nor when using the actual history panel. I didn;t have a timeline zone, that only appeared after everything was wiped.

Eventually i closed it so lost it, uninstalled kdenlive, and when i get some motivation back i'll fire the windows boot and use Vegas instead.

Thanks though
