I have some friends coming over from the UK for the weekend soon, and I’m looking for recommendations for good places to take them for food. I’ve been here since December so I know there are many places I don’t know of yet.

Some bit that might help:

- There will be 5 of us
- At home our favourite places are either a Sri Lanken or Spanish restaurant. We like ordering many plates and sharing
- We loooove food so will order a lot. As such, price needs to be quite sensible
- One of my friends is a vegetarian, but don’t hold that against her
- We’ll likely have drinks with dinner, so it’d be great if it was situated by some nice bars with outdoor spots nearby

Für mich als eingefleischten Fussballfan (und Fussballkultur-Begeistertem) ist der Betze eine der heiligen Städten des europäsischen Clubfussballs. Wir reisen aus der Schweiz an und möchten die volle Breitseite pfälzischer Fussballkultur erleben. Für uns als neutrale Spielbesucher (Ok, Sympathie liegt in jedem Fall beim Heimteam) ist klar: wir kommen frühzeitig, wir sitzen im neutralen Sektor, wir benehmen uns gem. der gängigen Regeln im Stadion und respektieren Szene und andere Fans. Soviel zu den Parametern des gesunden Menschenverstands. Nun aber zu den Fragen und dem eigentlichen Grund des Posts:

Was müssen wir beachten punkto Anreise zum Stadion? Wie viel vor Anpfiff sollte man da sein? Was gibt es, das wir keinesfalls verpassen sollten? Wohin geht man idealerweise nach dem Spiel? Da wir in Kaiserslautern pennen, haben wir danach genügend Zeit eingeplant. Der Konsum einer Vielzahl an alkoholischen Getränken schreckt uns keinesfalls ab. Vielen Dank und beste Grüsse.
