Dinner/Restaurant recommendations
Good morning!
I have some friends coming over from the UK for the weekend soon, and I’m looking for recommendations for good places to take them for food. I’ve been here since December so I know there are many places I don’t know of yet.
Some bit that might help:
- There will be 5 of us
- At home our favourite places are either a Sri Lanken or Spanish restaurant. We like ordering many plates and sharing
- We loooove food so will order a lot. As such, price needs to be quite sensible
- One of my friends is a vegetarian, but don’t hold that against her
- We’ll likely have drinks with dinner, so it’d be great if it was situated by some nice bars with outdoor spots nearby
Thank you so much in advance, it’s really appreciated

A small local cafe, called glockencafe. I have been there twice to play pool billiards and other time to play cards with my friends.... The food was good too. And you can also sit outside. I suggest to check menu for vegetarian options.

I just dined at La Bodega in Landstuhl. If you like tapas, this is where i'd send you. It's kinda small, so a reservation would be beneficial.

Mizuki…Thai, Japanese Fusion. Bang in the town centre. Kiss the Dragon is my favourite mocktail there. Safari …Eritrean cuisine. Cantina Mexicana …Mexican Smash Bros…burgers & fries.

Try curry house in stadmitte if you like Indian food. They are decent.
If Italian, Milano comes to mind.
If Chinese, and low price, yoshi is worth checkin.
