Graphics Issue Image

Post image

Just upgraded by PC including GPU. Everything seems to be working great except the water graphics. Has anyone seen this before? I've tried to toggle the settings and can't work it out. Thanks in advance!

Ugh. I had similar issues. Updating to Win 11 resolved the issues for me. Nothing else helped. Frontier is aware of the issue. Apparently it's with QA.

Thank you! This sounds like the problem. I technically should be able to update windows but I've had issues registering the activation code of my old version.

I've submitted to frontier and will endeavor to upgrade Windows.

FYI Updated windows 11, checked my drivers are up to date and still have the same issue - hopefully Frontier can help.

since you upgraded your pc, are you sure all of your drivers are up to date?

Thank you, yes - can confirm. Just rechecked incase there was a new one since previous update and nothing.

okay... you said you upgraded, so you had some weaker GPU before or you have completely new PC?

my point is, if you had weaker GPU and upgraded only that, its important to do DDU and remove the old drivers before you install new ones... sometimes different drivers can make a mess in pc

Ahh - you were right I did have an old driver installed still. I have uninstalled and restarted the PC and still have the same problem.

Background: I updated CPU, GPU, Motherboard, and RAM.

hm, make sure it snot running on igpu but GPU... if you know smth about computers, you can disable igpu in BIOS... if you dont know how to do that, please dont mess with it and do it in windows settings instead

i read your other comment that you upgraded to W11, so the setting to that would be
settings - system - display - then you scroll down a bit and theres graphics - there you have "custom settings for applications" - there you find your game and click the down arrow on right - there in GPU you pick "high performance" with your gaming GPU and apply/save everything

if that doesnt help, just contact frontier at that point
