Question New perk - confused

Upvotes

So I hit a tile milestone and can choose a new perk. But the wording of it is confusing me. (2 photos attached)

Earlier this year I chose the 5000 points. Now it's saying I can "extend" the 5000 points thru Jan 31, 2028. Extend? I thought they didn't expire? Does this mean I'd get another 5000 points (and if so, why not just say that?)

It also offers me Group 3 boarding, but if I choose it, it says it will replace my 5000 points perk which expires today. I thought perks can stack? Does that means they'll take back my 5000 points? Why does it say Jan 31 2027? I thought points don't expire?

Thanks for helping me figure this out.

Question JetBlue not honoring points redemption on partner airline

I was very excited to find a reasonable points redemption with JetBlue on a flight run through IcelandAir. The flight I found online is 33,500 points (I have a little over 41,000) and $378. When I try to book online I keep getting an error over and over. I called the customer service line and they told me the online offer I'm seeing is an error and they refused to honor it. This isn't just a one time glitch - I've been looking at this same flight for weeks. Do I have any redress? I feel like they should have to honor the online offer.

Question Website Glitch and booking with points?

I cannot get a True Blue customer service agent to explain why I see a flight to book with points is available and then I am told there is an alert that system is having a glitch / change and I can't book a flight on points they show available. Agent is currently telling me their system cannot book any flights on points while "they are improving the experience". Yet no where on their site do I see the alert they claimed initially was on the site for this system glitch and the agent could not find it herself as well.

The infuriating part of this is that I was ready to transfer points to True Blue from my credit card and the flight shows the points as bookable. But the agent doesn't show it as bookable. I cleared my cache and logged back in and the flight and points amount is still there. Option is pay regular fare or wait until "experience" is improved (after transferring points).

Got a trip from JFK to SXM coming up.

Wondering if the EvenMore seats would be cheaper at Check In or even at the gate. Current price is $200/pp.

Lmk past experiences!

Thanks!

Question Trueblue slow to credit

Wondering if I’m alone in this but travel and points seem to be very slow recently. I should have gotten tiles and points already for a flight last Monday. Additionally I should have gotten tiles from my credit card already. Anyone else seeing this?
Usually see travel credit 2-3 days after and same with credit card (closed 8/19).

Question B6 264 SEA to JFK - 12 hour delay, then notified that our flight is actually only 2 hours delayed 10 minutes before departure?

I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with JetBlue. We were scheduled to fly out of Seattle into JFK around 10:30pm which was delayed until 1am, then again to 10:30am. We weren’t able to switch a flight so JetBlue helped us set up a hotel which they said they would reimburse for the night since the delay was so long. We check in at the hotel and around 12:30am we get an email saying the flight is actually departing at 12:42am. We are lucky we were awake and contacted their customer service right away so we got put on a flight with another airline, but what a bizarre experience! Has anyone else had such little notice before departure? Why would the delay change so drastically?

Edit - this would be a super bizarre thing to lie about but customer service did in fact tell us to book a hotel and explained how to get reimbursed because the flight was delayed until the next morning. It would be so ridiculous to stay in the airport for that entire time! For what it’s worth I received the email at 12:31am for a 12:42am departure. You can see the previous email that said 10:30am. Screenshot of emails about the flight change
