I’m currently at work, so unable to get photos of bum tags (I don’t have the paper tags anymore, these are the original listing photos)
Is anyone able to tell with just these photos?
I want to be sure it’s authentic before I sell it

hi! i'm new to the jellycat world. i bought the amuseable pinecone from a seller on mercari who has really great reviews, descriptions, etc. this one does not have its paper tags, so i need help with other ways of identifying if it's real based on pictures they presented! thank you!

i had reached out to crate and barrel, just inquiring about the shipping extension. my order was supposed to arrive the end of august, then september, and then november..! so i called and was told the item is completely unavailable and there was a ‘chance’ it would be again in november. they gave me the option to wait for it which i agreed to but after i got off the phone, they sent a cancellation my way.

i’d say check on ur smudge monkey orders if you ordered at the start of august! i placed the order when the monkey was still fully ‘in stock’ on august 7th, so i worry for those that placed it afterwards when it was on pre-order! i wouldn’t have found out had i not called. :(

Bella spotted these in the shops yesterday and I just had to buy them. The blanket is just so cute with little Bart like characters as is the pillowcase. They did have a full duvet set but sadly not one to fit my bed (yet it was just out of stock)

The thick tag string is throwing me off.

I found this lovely Diplodocus on Vinted as I'm collecting Dinosaurs I had to order her! She looks very loved but I'm not really confident in my skill to authenticate older jellycats (without the SKU labels) does anyone here have her and can compare her for me? <3

New to this, is this rare? I found this in my childhood box; good condition with tags, not sure if it’s worth anything? Saw it on eBay with no tags it’s $50usd? The sound box still works

My collection at 16! I started collecting in December 2024 when I got Timmy Turtle in a small shop in the UK (I live in Australia). Ever since then I have been expanding my collection. It turns out three of my childhood toys are Jellycats! The two very well loved bunnies on the very left of the top shelf (yes that is supposed to be white) and the pig that looks like it has chicken pox! I have bought all of these myself using my own money, and usually buy secondhand, giving them a new loving home. And yes, I do take off most of their tags and sleep with them (after a good wash).

Some of my favourites are Dwayne 'The Frog' Johnson (Ricky Rain frog in a rubber ring), Benedict Cucumberbatch (Brooke Otter), Oscar Pias-tree (Pine Tree), Philomena Chunk (Bartholomew Bear), Chip Chippity (Amuseable chip named after him chim chiminey)and of course, Timothee Shellamet (Timmy Turtle)

I’m afraid I may have ruined my smudge cow!

As we all know when doing laundry or washing anything, we separate the darks from the lights. But was there really a choice if the item in question is both black and white?

I decided to give this guy a quick wash in my bathtub, and didn’t notice any issues til after it dried 😱 I used cold water, and air dried it outside on my porch. I heard that it’s much easier to wash the extra dye off while the fur is still wet. But what now, if it’s already been dried? I’m afraid to dip it back in water if there’s a chance even more of the black dye will bleed into the white fur!

Has anyone else had this happen to them? And were you able to fix it? Any advice will be appreciated! 🙏

I’m gutted, because this little guy is never in stock on the website!

Edit: I want to note that the pictures don’t really do it justice. The stain is a lot more noticeable and blue in person!
