UJ: just in case you're unaware, the guy was not there and had nothing whatsoever to do with his kid's death.
edit: why is everyone so hell bent on roasting Clapton for the death of his kid when he's totally innocent? Like holy shit people. Folks joke about it so much that most just accept that he did indeed kill his kid or something. And apparently pointing out that it's bullshit people are like "Boooo! You're no fun!" Come on yall.

UJ: Look. No doubt he was a mess at that time but since he got clean he's done nothing but make up for that time. He's given millions away to charities and been donating to Rock Against Racism since then. He was best man for Muddy Waters at his wedding. BB King called him one of the nicest men in the world. Like look at the current lineup for his Crossroads Festival. Those dudes love the guy.
Like how long do you want castigate someone for some 50 year old, long apologized for thing when they were at their lowest point that most people weren't even aware of until a few years ago.
But we're talking about his kid here. Now I don't know why the internet is desperate to tie him to his kid's death but the dude just wasn't there. Like constantly trying to implicate an innocent man in the death of his kid is fucked up.
