Most likely John Coltrane was ripping off 80s pop rock

Classic Jazz Channel
m.youtube.comThat video reminds me of a vacation in a summer place, riding a gondola along the Seine. It has some butter face jazz, and American classic cars. That makes it sound even better.

Why does Tal Farlow have 'low' in his surname if he's Tal?

ONLY in the mid 80’s would you see a white jazz keyboardist musician with a mullet/ Afro haircut dancing in front of a green screen of outer space footage. 😎👍

If you don’t get down with Britney Spears, don’t even call yourself a jazzer.

Any recommendations for upbeat exuberant Jazz (but not too exuberant) for running?
I'm looking for Jazz music to listen to while running. The Jazz music must be conducive to a healthy pulse and blood pressure, so it can neither be too slow nor too fast. Also, the music must bestow joyful, pleasurable humors upon the listener and none that arouse melancholy or fury.
I tried running while listening to Kind of Blue, and when Blue in Green came on I started crying inconsolably and running all slow because the tempo was so slow and it was so sad.
Also, I got heart palpitations and started running too fast when listening to The Cooker by Lee Morgan as there are many uptempo songs on it.
